We are too lazy but I think government restrict a lot in this country. I am not sure you can freely explore the Atlantic Ocean without frictions.

It is an offense to fish within Nigeria's 500 nautical miles radius, I.e the coasts.

The strangest part of Nigerian Laziness is Lagos is literarily bordered by Atlantic Ocean , Home of different kind of fishes, yet a fish cost 1200

So I was craving fish stew and dragged myself to the market. I got this tiny fish for 1200, paid with pain in my chest and left grin.

Location; Lagos. Will you get it cheaper in your state?

It is well with us in this country.

I do not mean to spoil the taste of your food but how you guys eat this Titus of a fish still baffles me.

The odour from that fish is so so offensive.

What is 'Titus fish' ?
Do you mean Mackerel or sardine?
That is a Mackerel.
I know it is commonly called Titus but the fish in Titus is a Sardine not a Mackerel like you are displaying.

Fishing lisence can be gotten for bigger fishing vessels

Besides the laws are hardly enforced as Chinese fish around our ocean without getting caught

Only in Nigerian waters will a fish live it full natural maturity age without any fisherman catching it till it turns to great grandfather fish, retires and later dies

.
Is anyone stopping you from taking advantage of this opportunity? Get a fishing net and move to Lagos. I know you and your family members are hardworking and will flood the Nigerian market with your harvest
