Nigeria doesn't need its currency to have plenty of colours because it costs a lot of money to print currency

It will be a disaster to spend #100 printing one 100 naira note.

Arabic is not a Nigerian language. It is certainly not a local tongue in Nigeria and it hasn't always been here.

It is Soo wrong to be there. It doesn't improve the value of the Naira and was included because Islamic people as usual wants to force their bigotry on other people.

That is not Arabic, you bigot!
That is actually Hausa! Give it to the Arab to read it, and you will be surprised he cannot read it!
Unlike you in the south, the North had already had literate people. thry could read and write their own language. The culture of written tradition did not come with the advent of british colonialism for them, they were already writing at the time the white man came to them.

what you call Arabic on the Naira note is actually 100 nairaas the case may be in Hausa. The only thing is that it is written using arabic script.

Go and ask the Iranians who are persians but also use the Arabic script in writing. And also the chinese, they all have Arabic inscriptions on their notes.

the first picture below is the reverse side of the Chinese Yuan or the Renminbi. You can see the Arabic script on it. And this is a country where majority of them are Han without any religion.

And the Iranian? the next picture is their currency and it has Arabic script on it. Give it to the Arab and I can guarantee you that he does not know what it is! They even have english on their note even though they could easily say that English is the language of the infidels and the crusaders.
If you are not the bigot, why is the same language not used in Hausa schools? If you are not the bigot, why not use Yoruba language and Igbo language on the Naira notes? If you are not the bigot, is that language the Lingua franca Hausa uses to communicate with other tribes in Nigeria or is the Naira made for Hausa alone?

How many Hausa people use the language as a lingua franca to communicate with other tribes in Nigeria? If none, why use the language to represent Hausa on the Naira?

E get wetin dem never talk about the Arabic words on the Naira notes. Which tribe in Nigeria speaks Arabic? Was Nigeria colonized by Arabic people? What exactly is the justification?

Make dem add Hebrew and Latin for equality sake.

For those who claim the controversial language is Hausa language, is the same language used in Hausa schools or is the language the lingua franca Hausa uses to communicate with other tribes in Nigeria? How many Hausa people use the language to write? In fact, is the Naira made for Hausa alone?

So while I'm not in favor of Ajami (Hausa written using Arabic letters) on the Naira note, let's understand that i isn't the only non-English language appearing on the Naira note. If you showed that Ajami to a Saudi, it will be unintelligible gibberish to them just as "gba gbe oshi" would be meaningless to an English man.

do u think it's only hausa that speaks arab in Nigeria..... There is fulanis, the Nupe nd other tribe in Nigeria who adopt arabic as there language....just that they didn't colonise us doesn't mean that large % of Nigeria isn't speaking it...... Whereas the north carry larger % of naija population. Nd for that reason arabic inscription should be considered as far as most of them aren't educated but lot of them have islamic knowledge

Actually, yes. Islamic fundamentalists colonized parts of northern Nigeria and would have colonized more areas had the British not truncated their advancement... A proper Muslim should be able to speak and read the Arabic language, to them that is the language spoken in Jannah...
Re: Fisayo Fosudo Redesigns The ₦500 Note Through Photoshop by shiwex: 3:28pm On Nov 23, 2022
Arabic for what? Are we Arabs? its not even an official language in Nigeria - There are over 525 native languages spoken in Nigeria.[1][2] The official language of Nigeria is English, the language of former colonial British Nigeria. As reported in 2003, Nigerian Pidgin was spoken as a second language by 60 million people in Nigeria.[3]

The major native languages, in terms of population, are Hausa (over 80 million when including second-language, or L2, speakers), Yoruba (over 50 million including L2 speakers), Igbo (over 30 million, including L2 speakers), Efik-Ibibio cluster (over 15 million), Fulfulde (13 million), Kanuri (8 million), Tiv (5 million), Nupe (3 million) and approx. 2 to 3 million each of Karai-Karai Kupa, Kakanda, Edo, Igala, Idoma and Izon

You can see the Islamic terrorist there arguing about the Islamic inscription as if it will add any value to the Naira, when I say Islam is around 80% of Nigeria's problem, some people think I'm joking, as for me since we have over 250 languages in Nigeria, it is either the Naira notes have all the languages written on it or we use only English, as long as you are a citizen of Nigeria and you have a local language, you have equal rights with every other tribe, even if you are the only one existing in your tribe, why take only 3 languages and give them priority over others, you can see where the problems of inequity started from.

Note: I am Igbo and I support that every tribe should be represented equally in Nigeria

Unfortunately, segregation is here to stay. People from the minority tribes will forever be second class citizens in their own country.

The North is part of Nigeria. The North is and was not a country on its own. The North became part of Nigeria before Usman Danfodio invaded the North. So, there's nothing like the North being colonized by Arabic people.
