Thinkam: And exactly what does the Arabic inscription do for the Naira. Hypocrites. Nigeria is not a Muslim nation. Imagine a world without your religion. A lot of people would still be alive today 1 Like |

Same Arab that enslaved Africans for 1300 years are glorified by illiterate professors who do not know their history. Using the Arab writing on our currency is an insult to our forefathers. It's stupidity, we should be rebelling against the fuçkíng Arabs, not glorifying them after all they did to our people. |

immortalcrown:is the naira made for yoruba and igbo who follow the western pattern alone? Nigeria is dividend into northern nd southern part if the south can read the English inscription then y can't there be inscription of arab in the currency for the north aswell..... Maybe you don't knw that apart from our tribal language English nd Arabic are the most speaking foreign language in Nigeria.... English for the south nd Arabic for the North |

But what's the Islamic inscription all about? Is it that important? Is Nigeria an Islamic nation? What are they hiding under this Islamic inscription? I think there's more to this, it's not just ordinary inscription |

Layi4real:Not all the people in the South understand English and not all Hausa people understand the Arabic (Ajim). And what about Nigerians who don't understand both English and the Arabic? 1 Like |

immortalcrown:it is not about a tribe using Arabic. Nigeria simply comprises of Muslim and christian. Muslim understand Arabic, christian understand English. for easy understanding, identification and acceptability of the currency note as one of it's characteristics, Arabic and English are written on the notes to let everyone know what value the notes have instead of writing over 200 languages on the notes, Arabic and English covers all. |

Re: Fisayo Fosudo Redesigns The ₦500 Note Through Photoshop by immortalcrown(m): 3:58pm On Nov 23, 2022 |
EroticJane:This is part of the confusion. They deny that the currency has Arabic. They say the language on the Naira is Ajim. You are here justifying what they are denying. At the same time, you are illogical because Nigeria has only one official language which is English. If Arabic should be considered as you intend here, then Arabic should have been made the second official language in Nigeria. |
Re: Fisayo Fosudo Redesigns The ₦500 Note Through Photoshop by immortalcrown(m): 3:59pm On Nov 23, 2022 |
EroticJane:No wonder you are trying to justify the Arabic on the Naira. Suit yourself. |

He should have copied everything as it was on the old note. He clearly wasn't pleased with the Arabic inscription on the old note just like Nigerian Christians are not pleased with the Muslim girls wearing hijabs. |

Layi4real: How many northerners are fluent in Arabic, how many can read and write in Arabic. Which Arabic is your Lingua Franca? U guys will say anything to justify bigotry. Btw that inscription isn't even Arabic but Hausa written in ajami script, a pre colonial way of writing the Hausa language. And that comes to the question, how many Hausa still use the ajami script to write the language? Nobody. The standard and modern Hausa is now written in latinised alphabets, that's the Hausa most northerners can read and understand. Why then do we need to continue with ajami script on our naira notes then most hausa cant even read it. And for to imagine some southern Muslims like MURIC was threatening fire and brimstone because of written Hausa language. That goes to show u the level of ignorance and stupidity permeating the Nigerian atmosphere. |

Layi4real: It is still a borrowed language and North alone can't dictate what goes on our National currency. We have other languages spoken in the other parts of Naija too like French, Latin etc, yet they're not on the Naira |
