Only very few rooms has been filled, this foundation may still take up to 30 trips of sand to get filled. ...........

A lot. Plus the fact that I now buy some materials in bulk, and store on site, monitoring each days usage of materials wont be easy without a dedicated staff writing down daily usages.

We are set to cast this concrete course by tomorrow and on Monday. More pictures later.

We had to pond this foundation, the process of using water to flood the foundation so that soils can sink in and compact firmly for a hard floor.

Haven seen the full picture of the costs of doing this foundation, as all the works are nearly completed, all costs paid for and every materials accounted for, I think I have the total costs of building this foundation till the cast of the DPC which is currently ongoing to completion. We have spent the following monies on both materials, workmanship and supervision of this stage of the project. Very valid observation. I made a mistake there. It's one of the problems of buying in bulk and checking costs later. I actually bought the first 150 bags at N4200 and the second batch of 75 bags at 4,600. When I wanted to calculate, I used N2543 as average cost instead of N4257.14. The total cost should have been 745,000 for all cement used. I will correct the budget now. Thank you.
