legionISproteus: You could say problem of Nigeria was bad leadership, the period when you could say that is long gone. It is almost impossible for the Nigeria of today to produce a good leader. Just loook at the options we have for the presidency, none of them has any business being president. The seeds planted by bad leadership between 1960-1980s have now become trees producing even worse fruits. Bad leadership in the past has produced bad citizens such that Nigeria is beyond saving now. There will allwlays be individual successes along the way but Nigeria will always be a poor country going nowhere. Know this and know peace. In truth the problem of Nigeria was never bad leaders, no country has bad leaders for so long unless it fundamentally has bad citizens. Good citizens will never allow bad leadership all the time. The problem with Nigeria is all of us. 1 Like |

The same man that brought the bloody Indian BOGEL to Kwale that underpays its staffs and contractors while punching holes across the length and breadth of the Niger-Delta is now the same one telling us oil can no longer feed Nigeria?!!! Maybe if they paid their workers the standard international rates instead of paying you your own mouth-watering percentage it would then be enough to sustain Nigerians...jus dey talk woto-woto from every corner of your mouth dia! 1 Like |

Babachukwu: Why is Obi Next Supermarket not patronising Dangote Tomato Industry in Kano? Everything in his supermarket are imported from Italy to China and India. Nigerian doesn't need containers business man as President By the way Why is Obi planning to reduce import duty on consumable goods, the same goods that are produced in Nigeria? Obi is a scam |

ElSudani:Who told you that Obasanjo started Ajaokuta steel? Obasanjo and his men stole Nigerian money using the revival of Ajaokuta as excuse just like they stole with the electricity that they never gave us. OBJ is on his own, as good as his point may looks, I think he is just trying to play down on the recent discovery of oil in the North. If you think I am wrong, why has he not give kudos to Buhari for the oil discovered, does it mean the discovery is entirely useless? |

post=118909731:AMEN to your good prayer, as we can see such prayers being manifest in Bola Ahmed Tinubu a one time strong man in just 2019 now turned to a shadow of himself. Looting and stealing public money is dangerous, as we Nigerians have now learned to curse all criminal leaders stealing and looting our commonwealth in the name of politics and governance. |

alizma: I don't understand how some of you argue against facts. Yes, the contract to build Ajaokuta was signed by the military government of Obasanjo before Shagari came in. Read, read and read, don't spend your data watching porn on the internet and then come online to argue like an illiterate. |

ElSudani: GEMCO AND DISCOS ARE FRAUD: Sebi,we have been shouting this since - without 365 Days and 24/7 Lights,No Industrialization and as am writing,we only have one hour lights or at most 2-hours for 24-hours- Is that not fraud, yet, you bring bills, through their Phones to charge them for a Month ( 30-days)! In Ghana, even Villages have Pre- paid Metres,so what is wrong with Nigeria? Up till now ,Gemco and DISCOS are just feeding-fat on Nigeria,as nothing is being generated and nothing to transmit but are given Nigeria Darkness and charging Nigerians for darkness! These fraudulent Institutions should be dissolved,as Nigeria State is worsen than the time of Independence! Every State should generate her Lights, without being a burden to other States! OBJ cannot be complaining now because he had all his time to get Nigeria into a good pedestal but only him know how he got this Power Project wrong because on one hand, OBJ did a good job- by ensuring the Cancellation of Debt during his tenure but the same Debt, the emergency Politicians have accumulated again for the future unborn children to pay! In another note, what stopped him from ensuring that $16-Billion Power Project made Nigerians to have Stable Lights but no headways and the same Alh. Atiku that was there on Privatisation Progect- is still asking for Votes from Nigerians, thereby making Nigerians to look Stupid! So, who is deceiving who? GEJ on the other hand, made a very big tactical errors in the Lights- Implementation issues, by sidelining the Power Project Experts, thereby awarding DISCOS to inexperienced Nigerians, who had no bearing in Power- Light Project! May be he was thinking of a comeback after the Elections! It was a bad decisions on his part. Imagine, how Bank M/Ds - who had no experience at all, became Discos owners, when the General Electric from America was chased out of Nigeria! Corruption has built strong roots in Nigeria for a long time! Our Leaders have mislead us,says the Scriptures! If you think Nigerians, especially the Youths, are happy with Nigeria, then you are deceiving your self! So,we are ALL in this mess,be it good or bad! May Nigeria changed for the best! |

Re: Oil Can’t Feed Nigeria Anymore – Obasanjo by tete7000(m): 7:54am On Dec 05, 2022 |
ElSudani: The only problem with Obasanjo is that he would lay a good foundation but connive with others to ensure he got incompetent people who would make a mess of whatever legacy he left behind to succeed him. He vouched for Shagari, he left an ailing and almost dead Yar'Adua and when they were conniving to bring Buhari he made Nigerians believe he is the best for them. I wonder who he is routing for again now. |
