While we were known to have endangered our lives in the struggle against military dictatorship and the enthronement of the democracy we enjoy today, Obaigbena was known to have collected substantial sums of money from the military junta to campaign against the June 12, 1993 elections, widely acknowledged as the freest and fairest polls in the country’s history. He even featured on the CNN to justify the annulment of the election and the continuation of military dictatorship.

Tinubu, Alake and Bayo Onanuga all fought for the democracy we are enjoying today including press freedom. While Tinubu was hounded into exile, Alake and Bayo Onanuga were detained severally by the military junta of IBB and Abacha. During this dark period, Nduka Obaigbena was on Abacha’s payroll and using his media company to defend the annulment of June 12 and continuation of military dictatorship.

Even the AriseTv that he’s now using to attack the APC was funded with funds looted from Office of the National Security Advise under Dasuki. Such a dubious character is now claiming to be fighting for press freedom when all we are telling him is simply to stop spreading fake news about the APC candidate and be professional in their reporting. Nduka and his gang of noisemakers are nothing but dubious, shameless, irresponsible and morally bankrupt characters.
