Procashtips:

Yet most of what you call solid infrastructure in Nigeria were built by them.
List those solid infrastructure so we can debate on it.

Procashtips:

Gaddafi and some other notable names all around the world weren't democracy, but you'd pick them 10x over any democracy in Africa.

Except Gaddafi who is more of an activist and never ruled as a military leader...the rest are criminals and a big fraud.

Procashtips:

If you're asked to list 10 bad things Abacha did, you'll struggle.
You are joking right?

Procashtips:

Then compare whichever ones you're able to list to what we've faced in the so-called democratic dispensation. Bro democracy which we practice right now is a ruse.

I don't care about your blacklisting of the present regime...but your precious military heads are still the ones in Agbada constituting the biggest fraud and looting in Nigeria's history.

PS: Democracy is the free speech you are enjoying today insulting politicians online and offline without getting locked up or disappearing like during the IBB regime. Those who lived during military regime knows what's up.

There's this pro-Western YouTube channel that posts lots of shorts of US and EU mercenaries that have died in Ukraine.

Omor, the matter long. They literally post everyday. So many of them have died. So much for the "Ukraine is winning" narrative they have been pushing down our throats.

https://www.youtube.com/@militaryschedule/shorts

I should warn, the channel is pro-West. It posts a few heroes that fought on Russia side but will typically add some US-style propaganda to their stories by accusing them of war crimes or drug trafficking.

Gbam!

Finally someone who sees things the way it should be seen.
3 gbosas for you 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

But don't expect children who weren't born in the 70s and early 80s to understand your points. Just get prepared for some emotionally charged but factually deficient talks incoming.

Try as you may, people who never lived under IBB and Abacha regime will never understand what you're saying and they will never understand freedom they currently enjoy. Like children born into wealth will never understand the wealth they've got.

Hearing about a regime is totally different from living under the regime.

democracy is still not for Africa ... Some of this western nations don't even practice democracy. Military is still a better rule of government in Africa than democracy but the west will never support it they will rather destabilize that country.
Because you hear military rule you think people are being oppressed? That's a very big lie. A military rule will strengthen the country which will be the foundation on which democracy will be built on besides military rule will reduce corruption to some extent

Lols..... Are you for real?

Even your beloved United States does not recognize Taiwan as a state.

Read up the history of the Chinese civil war to understand how Taiwan was split from China.

Once you're done with that, read up about how Taiwan was recognized as a state (officially as the Republic of China and unofficially as China) while China was not even recognized as "China" but as the the People's Republic of China or PRC for short.

Educate yourself and stop being a nuisance to yourself.

Did I tell you the USA recognise Taiwan

Can't you make your points without insults
Recognition simply won't make Palestine a state

You think world policies are done with emotions, they are lot of people who perceive they not given reckoning to get there own state.

The Kurdish people in northern turkey, do you think erdogan will take it likely if they start to say they want their own state.?? Even though they are the original owner of the land
.
The Catalonias in Spain, thier leader's were put in prisons some years ago after they wanted to hold a referendum to stay or leave the kingdom of Spain

How many time's have Russia fought a WAR to repel rebellion in Chechen

For a state to become a member of the United Stations, it must submit a formal application. The UNSC reviews the application and decides whether to recommend the candidate’s admission to the UN

The Security Council's recommendation requires at least nine affirmative votes, with no veto from any of the five permanent members. Once recommended, the UNGA votes on the UNSC’s recommendation. Admission requires a two-state majority at the UNGA. If approved, the state becomes a full member of the United Nations

Even if the USA don't veto the application were will Palestine see nine votes from the UNSC

Recognition is good for Palestine but it won't matter if it doesn't get a recommended by the UNSC and passed by UN

This thing is a gradual process. You're really in pains obviously I can see it. Israeli has recalled their ambassadors from Norway and Ireland they know the recognition by these countries is bad news for Israel. But you're here typing long trash essay as if the status quo will remain unchanged.

The USA vetoed it in 2011 after Algeria a then non permenate member of the UNSC brought the application.
What's stopping the USA from doing it again tomorrow??

When the people shouting "Freedom for Taiwan" don't even recognize Taiwan as a state, shouldn't you be concerned?

Taiwan and Palestine have very different histories.

Palestine's land was stolen by Europeans Zionists under the guise of Judaism while Taiwan was never even a country to begin with. It has always been part of China.

So this is a no-case argument.

Did you read about Taiwan's history as I instructed you to?

If you haven't, grab a chair and start reading. Adiós.

It's not true. How did we rule ourselves before the European colonists showed up?

Did we not rule ourselves without issues? Did we not build things and societies that even they were jealous of?

We can rule ourselves well, but only if they stop interfering in our systems.

Lastly, you know who Botha was?

Botha was a super horrible person. So horrible even Fela sang about him in his "Animal dey wear agbada" song.

This is called"wake up and smell the coffee". Though it's good that some countries are recognizing the state of Palestine as this shows the urgent need for the 2 state solution but if the normal process isn't taken, it'll end up being a pipe dream

South Sudan also had their own militia group yet they were recognized and legitimately accepted by the UN in 2011 that's decades and years of war with Sudan. The Palestine struggle has been there, what it's needs are partners who will put on diplomatic pressures on the US. States like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, UAE can make a valid case that for peace to return to the Middle East, Palestine statehood must be officially recognized. It's inevitable... It's a matter of when

There was a civil war in Sudan
Hamas are not looking for statehood,
They control Gaza, Gaza is independently run by hamas,
The PLA authority is different from hamas,
PLA is looking for statehood yet they can't control the total territorial integrity they want.
So the UN should cut out the statehood of Palestine with a terrorist group also controlling an enclave within the state.

Well my fingers are crossed.
