Be deceiving yourself. Hope your sentiment will rescue you from hunger and killers when the time comes. Your choice affects you.

You may not be a politician but your comment shows that you know how politics works. Some don't know that a PDP member for instance will never vote any party than PDP because he or she knows that if they win, he or she will benefit. Many of the people saying Wike can't influence are not members of any political party. I know a former councillor in my ward that follows an influential politician to any party he goes because the politician gives him money almost on monthly basis.
Sometimes I just laugh when I read this kind of comment. Some of you think politics is just like 1+1 and it would give you an answer. Yes, somebody may be following politician from one party to another but you have to consider state peculiarity. There are states that are naturally certain party, no matter how they love you, if you defect from that party to another, you lose your political ground. Examples abounds.
Akpabio defected to APC, he lost ground.
Amaechi defected to APC, he lost ground.
Fayose defected to LP, he lost ground.
Orji Kalu defected to PPA, he lost ground.
Atiku defected to APC, he lost ground.
Mimiko defected to PDP, lost ground.
There are some states, the people pulse must not be joke with.
Let me tell you something, if Wike doesn't align with what people want, he will lose it big. The grip Tinubu has in Lagos that if he decides to defect to PDP tomorrow, he will still win, not all states politicians can dictate that.
Common sense not common.

Keep deceiving yourself. He is currently meeting with Tinubu in UK

If he chose Peter Obi and Obi wins, Wike wins also. Obi have higher chances to win more than Tinubu. The core North Tinubu is hoping to inherit, Atiku and Kwankwaso have inherited it. Lagos he's banking on, Obi is giving him a run there.

Wike is not going to tell you where to vote, he will only tell his structure where to vote.

There are 3 kind of people that vote.

—The politicians and party members

—The people the politician influence within their localities. These are the people politicians pay their kid school fees, help them pay debts, they are there for them when they have problem, they give them money at times, and they fix their children in positions. Those are part of the political structure that vote.

These people vote anyone the politician tells them to vote because that is how they survive.

—People like you that have no affiliation with any politician. You will vote your own mind.

Wike can influence the first two. Somehow, due to the fact that there is always voters apathy, those first 2 set might be more or equal as the third category in certain states.

So anyone Wike support and work for will get at least 30-35% of Rivers state vote. Also knowing that Wike always fight dirty to get what he wants, that Election Day might witness violence such that ordinary people will be so afraid to come out to vote.

Wike will send boys to chase anyone that’ll vote PDP and that election will be somehow bloody in Rivers because it is a fight to finish for Wike. He must make a statement by making sure Atiku don’t have up to 10% votes in Rivers. The resultant effect will affect LP too because ordinary people won’t vote where guns are sounding continuously.

Na people like u them de deceive
