I have read the verse before but I always notice that people interpret it differently but I don't argue with them before they will say I am jealous of them because they can speak in tongues

We have to start statements with references.
Not just making statements without backup.
Because you think so doesn't make it correct, references makes it right

Throughout the Bible, 'tongues' is mentioned and it signifies languages
The people in the day of pentecost heard what the disciples said and understood the message
Speaking in tongues was a sign for the unbelievers
Yet, they say that it is praying so that the devil will not hear as I'd we can't pray in our hearts and he won't hear.
Why not stop doing good so that the devil will not see
