Don't Be Afraid To Ask: The Importance Of Open Communication About Sex by Ochedeking1(m): 10:28pm On Jan 08, 2023 |
Sex is a natural and normal part of life, and it's important for young people to feel comfortable talking about it. Unfortunately, there is often a stigma attached to talking about sex, especially for young people. This can lead to feelings of shame or embarrassment, and can prevent people from seeking out the information and resources they need to make informed and healthy decisions about their sexual health. It's important for young people to know that they have the right to make their own decisions about their sexual activity and to seek out information and resources to help them do so safely and responsibly. It's also important for young people to know that it's okay to ask questions and to talk about their thoughts and feelings about sex. So, don't be afraid to talk about sex! If you have questions or concerns, reach out to a trusted adult, a healthcare provider, or a resource such as a Planned Parenthood health center. And remember, it's never too late to learn about and take charge of your sexual health. |
