Someone has a clear decades-long track record of always fighting for you even at the expense of huge danger to his life, his health, his education, his comfort. He was there fighting for your country through military era, he was there through the wasteful years of the ensuing democracy, he keeps fighting governments even if he was initially hopeful, the moment he starts seeing issues he doesn't hesitate to go against you.

Yet, those claiming they want real change are presenting a 60+ years packaged governor with no meaningful impact in a very small state as their youthful saviour who will change everything. Someone that was Atiku's VP candidate just 4 years ago. Someone that was exposed by many from his state with unsavoury comments on this same Nairaland just about 10 years ago! Someone that was not a kid and was nowhere to be found during the dark days of the military.

We are who we are. I won't deceive myself, since they are all thieves, I will simply look at your track records and pick a verifiable performer until the time Nigerians are ready for true revolutionaries who no send anybody. Time will heal everything.
