Who built this building, What was the purpose for building it in the first place, what was the plan for maintaining the structure? All these should be asked before carry out any project at all.

Oga, that building is not owned by government. It is a privately place owned by Dr Maduka, the US based doctor that owns Las Vagas pain Institute. He built that place to establish a medical reseach institute for where doctors will come in to do what they do. He also built houses for villagers, heck I hear he rebuilt his whole town, providing electricity, police station, churches, fire stations, water works, roads and the rest. He ran for governor in the last election that produced soludo but lost.
I wonder what his has to do with Lagos and the usual rants.

That's a hospital not a residential building...the owner is a Nigerian American doctor and a philanthropist.

I think he's maybe lacking funds for the running and maintenance of the hospital.

Honestly many people are money- miss -road even in south east. Firstly, I wrote a comment on that building on facebook sometime in 2018 you need to see how I was insulted by some Ibo's. I highlighted the fact that building such a structure in that area Of The east was a waste of money because the cost of maintaining the elevator or generator fueling will evaporate any meaninful profit that can be made by any business entity that rents the building. The insults kept pouring in like a waterfall now look at it today was I not right?. I heard it was built by an Ibo doctor working in the United states. Millions of dollars down the drain just imagine. Honestly education and business wisdom or success don't go together at all. A doctor can be stupid just like the doctor that built this edifice so also a professor can be even more foolish with business. What a pity. Funny enough building not in use tend to deteriorate just like that no matter how new.
