Nigerians like to act stubborn until they realize they can't beat the government. The same thing happened with NIN, the obedient ones did for free but the stubborn ones paid money to get NIN. I really hope CBN won't extend the deadline. 3 months is enough to take ur money to the bank and what's even wrong with transfer? You don't need to have 200k cash at hand. Use Mobile app, USSD etc. I so much love this new policy.

Some POS are charging 500 naira on 10 thousand naira withdrawal and they still giving old notes.

Not to talk of the lingering fuel scarcity.

In as much as it hurts but we need to endure. So many people might not understand what Emefiele( and ogas at the top) is doing, some politicians whose only hope of winning is vote buying will be disappointed.

Lucky me, I withdraw new notes at first bank ATM on broad street , close to Cms bookshop.....40k , all in 500naira denomination...

All these problems should not have come up at all if some people are not perpetual vote buyers in the country.

It shouldn't be extended.They is no household that doesn't have the new notes.People are hoarding it to sabotage the good work of CBN.

But Nigeria is not ripe for that yet. They are still millions of Nigerian illiterates. How will they cope in that policy.

They will definitely extend the deadline. The money is not in full circulation yet. Some banks are not even putting money in their ATM again and those who have the new notes have regulated withdrawals on their ATMs to max 5k to 30k max.

CBN says they have given banks enough money, banks are saying they don't have enough. We don't even know who to believe. This country self ehn

It's somewhere in between, it's either the banks has given the money to the highest bidders or the CBN didn't play there roles as regulators of the bank
