i do remember a few years ago, IPOB did try peaceful protest but got massacred by the police, i guess when you respond to peace with violence you get a return in investment. the governments actions towards protests whatsoever indicates they cant and wont stomach it, they would rather exchange bullets.

im not defending IPOB but i can see the governments response prior to 2020 led to their eventual radicalisation

What referendum?

If the South East wants a referendum, their representatives at the national assembly will TABLE A MOTION for a referendum in their region to decide on its continued membership of the Nigerian nation.

THEY'VE NOT DONE THAT.

Nigeria is a nation of laws.

You do not seek referendum by going around killing your fellow Igbos and calling the country a zoo.

So IPOB is a criminal terrorist organisation with very ulterior motives.

If they were genuine, they would target all their weaponry at the politicians representing them at the National Assembly, for not tabling a motion of referendum, which is how you start the process of secession.

Instead they go around killing poor market women for disobeying their ludicrous 'sit at home' orders that do nothing but further impoverish the Igbo masses they claim to be fighting for.

It's a shame that Igbos are apparently too naive to see the game being played on them by these IPOB criminals.

When he was busy inciting violence in the southeast, turning the hearts of the gullible and illiterate people against the government, he didn't know this was what he was brooding. Please remind us, which national assembly did anyone go to, or what referendum was held before the the South East became part of Nigeria? Mr unity beggar

And which law is Nigeria a nation of? The 1999 constitution General Abdulsalam wrote in his bedroom?

The cause of all the problems in Nigeria today is the disastrous union of 'one Nigeria'

Nnamdi Kanu's utterances are there online. I recalled all he said in 2016 before govt bombarded his family house.
This is the solution. He has erred. People v asked for his pardon which I blv he deserve. But you and others must be able to admit all these won't generate to Kanu being imprisoned if he took right steps.
Fighting the govt of the day is a futile battle.
