Why are banks hoarding the new naira notes from the owners and only selling to POS operators?

Stop this assertion, it's not true. Here in FCT, POS operators don't even have cash let alone hoarding it. This morning, someone did a transfer for 200 imagine!!!

One of the boys that was killed yesterday (the one with GSW to the chest) was my cousin...

It's been a sad atmospheric condition in my family since yesterday..

My deep condolences đŸ˜”

It's so sad that my state people would take to violence over these scarce notes.

Buhari's returning of old 200 naira notes was fueled by fear of anarchy in Nigeria.

Tinubu and his APC supporters are bent on destroying this country.
Tinubu call your boys to order
They should stop destroying properties across the country.
You are supporting violence protest just to prove a baseless point

Eeya.

Election holds in 9 days. You should all come out en masse to vote for Asiwaju. Only Asiwaju can stop them from turning your old notes into tissue paper..
Once Asiwaju wins, old notes will remain till December 2023 and Emefiele will be fired.

I can bet you that Emefiele and the cabals will run to exile immediately Tinubu is declared the winner of 2023 elections

The north without bank accounts and uneducated ppl did not protest and burned down businesses but the south with all the education decided to burn down businesses in their locality....is that not madness? Have they finally gotten the money now? Has the hunger suddenly gone now?

Exactly. People that are actively involved in the protest hardly get hit by stray bullets...

By the way how can a police restrain protesters with real bullets.
Protesters that are burning banks and willing to kill bank staff should be restrained with whatever means necessary....You can do your peaceful protest without burning banks or trying to kill bank workers.

Those were not protesters. Those were people trying to break into a bank as evidenced by the pictures with parts of the banks destroyed and exposed. That’s not how to protest!
Don't mind them.

You people think we Nigerians are more violent than the the average white people but that's a lie.

If those people went through half of what we go through in this Nation they would do worse.

Y'all saw what happened with Capitol building in the US during pro Trump protest.
Oga continue to support the burning down of banks and businesses all in the name of what you are going through. Encourage your team to go to Abuja and attack the real ppl

It’s a valid question in understanding his predicament and ultimately that of his family. It is a question, not a statement.

See how dumb you are

Is it Peter Obi that initiated the policy
Is Peter in charge of CBN.

Is Buhari and the APC government the initiated the policy and Tinubu is APC

Tinubu is just unleashing violence to sabotage the policy.

Shame on you all, today you blame Cabal, tomorrow you blame Peter Obi for your embarrassments and failures as government
Ruling opposition party.

Tinubu said he will continue with all Buhari policies.
This is one of those I guess

Other people you saw destroying those Banks are also people's cousins, brothers, uncle, fathers inlaws etc. So what's the relevance of this your question.

Modified : His friends said they were not even actively participating in the violent protest. They were just passers-by who happened to be in the crossfire..

Sorry for your loss.
Violence is an irrational thing. Innocents usually get caught in the crossfire. The best thing, especially in a country like ours is always to be as far from those charged environments as possible.

Why are banks hoarding the new naira notes from the owners and only selling to POS operators?
Where is your proof? You sit in your house with zero knowledge and make false accusations. Do you not have old notes and POS operators before now? Was the bank selling notes to POS operators? Can all the banks sitdown hold a meeting to hoard notes and sell to pos operators? Is it not obvious that CBN printed far less than the money they extracted from the deposit on the new note?
