All Nigeria tribe voted Awolowo in 1999 and that is because PDP is their party and AD is just Yoruba dominated then.

Also, Igbo do not have a strong candidate compared to the Falae/OBJ candidates so they know that their best bet is to deliver OBJ.

Anytime Igbo have a pro-Igbo strong third force, they vote the tribalist way. They did that in 1979 & 1983 for Azikiwe where they voted him massively against a more better Awolowo.

There were two candidates in 1999, both Yoruba. However, you ignored the choice of Yoruba and voted for the candidate imposed on you by your Hausa/fulani overlords.
No ibo candidate has been on the ballot until 2023, and if he appears on the ballot of a party Yoruba support, they will surely vote him.

Tinubu will never be our president

South west got no reason to claim anymore that they are the most educated...this election open their yansh well.

The four major contestants were from the three major tribe
So it means we the South South are the one to choose the most suitable for Nigeria without biased

The truth remains that every sane Nigerian is ashamed of what is going on in Nigeria. No matter who wins I will still have access to whatever I want but the ordinary people at the end of the food chain nko. Most idiots supporting these bandits have never been out of their state not to talk of Nigeria to understand how the outside world sees us. They keep complaining about the igbos from all angle because we stand up for what we believe and for them it's scary if obi enters there because he won't succumb to any thief and these set of bandits cuts across every tribe. They are telling you that you are smart but at the end of the day your children, will still go home when ASUU is on strike, you will still be in darkness n fuel your generator, your security is not guaranteed, the igbos that are not smart are the same people running your consumer based economy while the north that are smart are the poorest.

Nigeria has 6 geopolitical regions out of which 5 of them had shown their level of tolerance towards people from other regions according to the pattern of voting in the just concluded election.

It's just one region that showed their level of intolerance and bigotry YET THIS ONE REGION IS ALWAY THE FIRST TO ACCUSE OTHERS OF BIGOTRY.

Let me tell you, one of the main reason why Ojukwu can’t be supported by Igbos in 1999 is because he is a featherweight politically. He cannot use Christian sentiment to win other zone because both OBJ/FALAE are christians. So Igbos known voting him will be total waste of time.

So you can’t even compare that to this. Same Ojukwu that can’t even extend his party APGA beyond Anambra, is that who you are calling most revered Igbo politically? If you say revered Igbo leader I agree, but if you mean revered Igbo politician I disagree.
