It's the typical Nigerian election scene.

Most Nigerians on the losing side always claim the election was rigged. None of them are brave enough to accept their mistakes, or the fact that they did not work hard enough. No the election was rigged.

Indeed, I must express my surprise that Nigerians voted APC. My problem with the Nigerian electorate is that far too many of them are content with where they are. They do not want better, and they do not want improvement.

But at the end APC and PDP placed first and second because they are the parties most people know. LP did well in the SE because an Igbo man was running; it did well in Abuja and Lagos because the young urban voter is tired of APC and PDP and wants change, and it did well in the Nassarawa , Plateau and Benue because christians want some peace of mind.

But it was nowhere in the SW..except Lagos, and nowhere in the vital parts of the North.

All these Nigerians protesting do not come out of their bubbles and go to the other Nigeria. They think that Nigeria is like them and that the villager in Zamfara, Kebbi, Oyo, and so on thinks like them. They don't. We may want 24 hours light supply; the local villager just wants a road to the main market town. He gets that...he votes.

That was LP 's problem.


I am begining to think that there was nothing like rigging in Nigeria. All our elections were never rigged. The problem is, Nigerians don't like defeat. Many Nigerians think their vote does not count...because their party lost. That is not how elections work.


Anyway, LP lost this election. We got 8 years or more of APC unless the opposition fixes itself now.
