Lagos is Yoruba land. And is part of the south-western states.
The awori's were part of the indigenous tribes that occupied the area before the coming of the europeans and amalgamation of the Nigerian state. These awori's are descended from Yoruba's according to them. Whether peoples great grand parents migrated there and have generations there or not it doesn't change this fact. Other tribes of Nigeria contributed to the development of this state making it a commercial hub for the country.
That being said,it doesn't call for the demeaning of other ethnicities that now live with Yoruba's in Lagos,its not just Igbo's living in Lagos,other tribes,the Lebanese,Chinese and others do business there too. People cease opportunities to destroy other peoples business and properties and even threaten their life's openly, because they are from else where,this is uncalled for.
