My suggestion is that Labour Party should transition from a normal Nigerian political Party to a R3VOLUTIONARY Political Institution with a single mandate to Cause a Radical National Transformation in the country - nicknamed the Overhauling Party.

LP should study other R3VOLUTIONARY Political movements across the world and bring such level of politics to Nigeria.

The new LP senators and HOR members should not be "OH YES" Members in the National Assembly.

They should never get into that pressure of building toilets in their Constituencies... No. Legislators are not elected to build infrastructure but to hold the executive accountable, make laws and interface between the citizens and the government. They should focus on doing the job of a legislator and put pressure on the executive to build and maintain infrastructure.

Labour should have a functional Political Education Directorate - PED.
The political education directorate shall be responsible for indoctrinating new members with the ideologies of the party. Political ideology is lacking in Nigerian politics. People join the "winning party" or the one they think can win. Enough of that. Every member of Labour Party should go through LP's political school, subscribe to their political ideologies and be able to evangelize the same ideologies to others. Everything LP stands for including Manifestos should be established on the party's ideologies - not solely on candidates personal desires/ideas. Nobody should be allowed to run on the platform of LP until they have gone through the LP political foundation School.

The Labour Party should have huge control over its elected officials. If you win an election on the platform of LP, you cannot suddenly become more powerful than LP. The Party should charge a compulsory percentage of the salaries of her elected officials which should be paid into the party's account monthly.
This will discourage Political money gamblers from running on the party's platform.

And lastly, labour party should hold rallies quarterly - not just during election campaign seasons.
Labour Party should be seen on the streets campaigning for a better Nigeria, protesting against bad government and relating with the common Nigerian on the street. The chairman should do house to house visits once every week. It should be on his weekly routine to visit at least 5 Nigerian families every week, interact with them and document their experiences.

To be the game changer, Labour Party can no be just another BIG PARTY like PDP and APC... No. They should organise a Diaspora political interface where Nigerians in Diaspora can help shape politics in Nigeria for the benefit of Nigeria.

Labour Party can do so much starting from now until Peter Obi reclaims our mandate through the courts.

A revolution led by an igbo even if it's for the good of Nigeria , people who naturally hate Igbos will call it a plot for a political coup , before you know it , northerners and south westerners will attack Igbos , before you know it 500 thousand Igbos will be killed with their properties looted

This thread is proving my point.

The major thing is to pull down this evil PdApc structure and build a PEOPLE'S STRUCTURE.
The bridge between this bloody rulers and the common man hustling on the streets of Nija is just too much,We can barely even checkmate them.
Up Labour.

Wow! Such a refreshing idea.

Political ideology is a strategic foundation that spur and informed the electorate on taking a side logically deviod of emotions and unhealthy sentiments (unfortunately, those were the most deployed stragy in the just concluded election), political parties in our time are bereft of ideologies to a point which you can easily cross-carpet when your personal ambition is been "threaten" and still get your way through - as long as your pocket is deep.

We've got an elongated pathways to navigate, if truly we can perfect democracy to represent what it stands for.

Communist Party of China is the best ideologically-based political party in the world, their ideas and visions made China a contending world power today, not sentiments, emotions, personal gains or prehumanic tribal affiliations.
