OmarBashir:
I always say Yoruba loosing Ilorin is a monarchial phenomenon, it does not even affect the political arrangements of Kwara state which is dominated by the Yorubas.

Ilorin didn't even go down as a battle Yorubas collectively fought rather it is a battle of a rebelled Generallismo "Afonja" who choose to secede from the Oyo empire and embraced the Fulanis in a bid to expand his empire, gain more metaphysical powers and battle ready fighters which later backfired.

And I must say the Yorubas have woke up and and you should not expect that level play ground Ibos were giving in Lagos. They are boiling.

Very on point sir.

There's nothing like tribalism in yorubaland. We're accommodating and welcoming and that's why Yorubaland is developing. It was tinubu who came and changed the status quo by breeding thuggery. Was it Pa Awolowo who wasn't accommodating or who? How many thugs did Pa Awo breed? When tinubu talks, just analyse his words. You'd realise how stinking it is. No good man or leader talks the way he does, just like a drunk man. Is it normal for people to snatch ballot boxes and attack people openly just because they want to end bad governance?

It's not today opposition has been winning in Lagos and Yorubaland? Heaven didn't fall when it happened. Even if another candidate rises tomorrow to contest, urchins will still complain. Jimmy Agbaje was even called an igbo agenda. PDP, an opposition had won Lagos before and it won't be the last for an opposition. All tribes represented here jointly made it happen. Amazingly, most of those preaching tribal messages are among the poorest of the poor. They're badly hit by the policies of bad governance. This is just the beginning. Things can always get better with better people occupying our political space. No more free votes.

By the time Tinubu's empire ends, his supporters will be put where they belong. The end to his empire has just started as you can see. Nothing lasts forever.

Did i just read that yorubaland is developing? Ekiti, Oyo, Osun, Ondo developing? If i catch you eh....

Most Northern states are even better than those states i mentioned.

Peter Obi introduce tribal and religion campaign into this year election. That's why year 2023 election go along tribal line.
Peter Obi is the actual reason why election is full of tribal tone.

SenatePresdo:

The earlier Igbos understand that we are war bounties, a conquered people in this country after that war, the better for all Igbos.

Do you think if the oil wells were to be in Osun, or Lagos, their head office will be in Rivers state?

All these your points of replicating vital government agencies, parastatals and foreign consulates in Lagos in Southeast and maybe Southsouth are legitimate solutions that will reduce Igbos trooping to Lagos, but it won't see the sun of the day. To Yorubas, its only about Yoruba interest and nothing, they don't care if Igbos are happy or not, it is none of their business
This is the bitter truth.

What Op proposed should be hailed and supported by Yorubas as a more sane way of telling Igbos to go back to Southeast.

Replicate all the key government agencies and parastatals in Lagos in Southeast so that Igbos will never have any reason to be trooping to Lagos.

But unfortunately the same people telling Igbos to go back to Southeast will never accept this simple solution, but let them enjoy it while it last because it is normal for those intoxicated by stolen undeserving victory to see their stolen victory as a windfall and a winner takes it all, only time can teach them the hard lessons about life.

Greeks, Romans, etc empires never believed a time would come that they will never be in control, it always look impossible and like it will last forever, but alas when the crumbling will start, it will almost look like its spiritual.

With this 2023 debacle called election, more eyes are open, more Igbos who used to be neutral are woke now.

All these honorable suggestions of how to solve the inequalities in Nigeria to give every tribe and region a level playing ground by Igbos will stand as testimonies that Igbos asked for equality and level playing ground but were mocked by those who feel they are destined to win and celebrate forever while others are destined to fail and be marginalized forever. Time will reveal, time will tell

Some people still dont get this. Maybe because they are very new to Nigeria politics or first time voters.

During the Presidential campaign. The candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi exploit and explored our diversity, he capitalise on our religious differences in particular to instigate hate among the the two major religion we have in Nigeria. CAN, PFN turned themselves into a political group. Especially General overseers, they turned the altar into a political stage to preach politics and propagate hate against Muslim candidate.

Peter Obi's victory in Lagos during the presidential election wasn't just from the igbos but from 'some' brain clouded, emotional religious sentimental yoruba christ!ans who were sold with the Jihad bullcraps. After the victory, instead of building more bridges with the people that voted against Obi l, making them reason by drawing them closer and also solidifying their alliances with yorubas that voted for obi. The southe@sterners, feeling pompous and inflated came with the campaign of 'taking over lagos' . .. They ran twitter spaces, host interviews aided by their propaganda media house, AriseTV, scribbles and tweets were churned out about how they will sack all the obas and takeover the whole place.

How can you expect the yorubas who sided with you against their tribesman, Tinubu in the presidential election to feel about it? Happy that you want to takeover their ancestral land and mock them with it in return, just like you use the word; 'Afonja ' consistently to make mockery of our loss in Ilorin.

Sanwo Olu victory is not coming as a result of tribalism. The yorubas fought together as one again, and they won. Different yorubas from different religion, political parties, and across all board left our differences asides at the corner, came together to 'rescue ourselves'

At first it was cruise, then it became aggressive, now it is uncontrollable.. Cant even be tamed nor can they reason well. It is all noise, zero thinking and strategy. The Obidient movement is turning out to be a curse to Peter Obi and the hardworking innocent igbos who committed no crime but paying for the sins of the headless mob.

I think people Shud henceforth vote in their respective states so as to chose good leaders there.

Cos that's why virtually all the state in Nigeria are the way they are.

That brings back the Lagos issue which has been the most talked about.

U will vote bad leaders in ur state finish and then want to go and vote a good leader in Lagos. Isn't that madness? Lagos na ur state?

Meanwhile ur state is getting worse everyday.
And it's not as if Lagos is improving at a good pace either.

It's the same way the hausas have infiltrated Edo state cos they are made poor in their home state where they vote out if ignorance.

So to hit the nail on the head, I advise ibos to first of all vote good governors in their states , that way they won't need Lagos or anywhere else.

It's the same way Edo people used to run to Italy cos their state wasn't offering much for them.

So I challenge anyone here to name 1 or 2 Nigerian states that has developed wonderfully in the last 30 years. If u want to go the route of revenue ur only lying to ur conscience cos these state have money to develop esp those eating oil money.

Where is Edo, delta, cross river, bayelsa, akwa ibom etc?

Am waiting..

This is a very stupid statement from a shameless hypocritical fool!
So, it wasn't APC and their supporters that chose a muslim-muslim ticket in a multi-religious country like Nigeria that ''explored and exploited our religious diversity'', it is now Obi and other well-meaning Nigerians who stood against the jihadic agenda, right?
People who preached against the evil ticket considering the problems it is going to cause later on are now to blame and not the evil people who want to dominate others with their terror-inclined religion!
Can you see how hypocritcal you fools are?
Can you see why that country will never make any headway?

God bless you my sister. In 1952 or there about. An Hausa/Fulani man was elected the 1 mayor of the whole of Eastern Nigeria. It was celebrated, he was there, till the civil war began, until Awolowo came after and sowed the seed of tribalism and nepotism. Over 70yrs after, we are yet to heal from it's devastating effect.
In this election, under Buhari and APC, a big sword, has been driven into the soul of the unity of this country.
It's a shame, that Nigerians are being profiled,by party and tribe, before the can vote in an election, in Lagos State, that is the center of excellence. Till nor, neither President Buhari, his Vice- President, Senate President, Speaker of the House of Reps, nor the president-elect, have said anything against it.
It's a seed, it has been sown, only God knows how long it will take to get it out of fabric of the nation.

You guys are so arrogant and easily draw people that loves you to anger and hatred. Have always loved the Ibos with all my heart and infact most of my friends and associates are Ibos and I don't even see anything strange in that....I voted and campaign for Peter Obi but changed my disposition when it became clear that the majority of the Ibos see Obi as their own personal person and not a Nationalist like I do. They take Obi as a messiah that would take Lagos from the Yorubas and put in Ibos. As a symbol where every part of this country can be annexed by the Ibos and so bad and sad that most Ibos have bad mouthed their Yoruba host that welcome you as family into their midst and you prosper.......what else do you need from them instead of conniving to take their land from them.......imagine the fact that you ain't even close to Lagos geographically......how do you intend to steal Lagos from such a far distance Ibo people?

It is now they start seeing it after 8yrs of blackmail, ethnic profiling, insults and rain of abuses on North/Fulani/Muslims.
Since independence, only a group of people are causing all sort of tribal disputes.
When Sardauna made a statement abt Northernisation policy some people thought he was tribal bigot not knowing that the foresight in the mind of Northern leaders is exceptional.
Sardauna said he prefer expatriate to some group of people in Nigeria because they always want to dominate their host at any given opportunity and in this election he is vindicated by the way those people are making silly statements abt Lagos!

After the victory, instead of building bridges, extending hand of friendship with the yourbas that voted against Obi, making them reason by drawing them closer and also solidifying their alliances with yorubas on their side already, that voted for obi.

He didn't mention church. You have added yours and turn a blind at the fact Tinubu Muslim-muslim ticket created the division.

This is the strange thing about the Igbos. Guess what, their biggest problem is even worse - they are totally incapable of accepting their faults and work on it. They see that as a weakness grin
