Honestly some of you don't even know how to run a society

And stopping citizens from voting because they come from different ethnic group is how to run a society right?

All those that were disenfranchised should boycott paying of tax to LIRS, any government that cannot secure or guarantee due process does not deserve your tax.

Tax resistance is a form of protest
Tax resistance is a civil disobedience and not a crime.

These guys need to calm down; elections are over. If Nigeria will ever work, sacrifices will be made. People will certainly die, but we can avoid this route if we are a reasonable people.

One thing I have come to realize about this country is that two ethnic groups cannot cause a widespread civil war. Una go just kill unaselves while others watch.

Without mincing words, stopping Igbos from voting in Lagos meant violating the same constitution that keeps this country going and every well-meaning Nigerian must condemn it in the strongest terms.

No one stop igbo from voting, they were only asked to support our agenda since we are their host. Is that tom hard to follow.

Vote for us that’s all we asked for

Were voters not intimidated in other states too especially in the east?
If you are intimidated, there are legal ways to address it not by evading tax

Don't worry, we go file zero tax. No income

Just pay your tax in your state of origin where your HQ is domicile. Lagos is just branch office, show them evidence of paying in your home state. If you claim Anambra, we will give you 70% discount

Tax resistance is a form of protest against injustice supervised by the government.

We are boycotting tax because the government cannot protect us and our votes as a vote of no confidence. Those in other states should follow this process also

You don't want us to vote but you need our taxes. You're a thief

Do not worry, we will legally avoid paying taxes in Lagos by paying in our home states, where we have our HQs; after all, Lagos is just a branch of our business. Anambra is offering 70% discount folks.

Non indigenes are threatening to boycott payments of tax to LIRS (Lagos inland revenue service) as a form of protest over the disenfranchisement of their votes as citizens. As seen on Twitter, I think only agberos in Lagos should pay, non indigenes should only pay indirect tax.

This ur argument doesn't hold at all. There are many form of taxes and every Nigeria pays at least one. The people who are most difficult to tax are unemployed people. But if u hve business in lagos or anywhere else in Nigeria that is visible, u will pay tax. As for annual returns do u think lasg doesn't know 99% returns are fake declarations.

We were not allowed to vote because we are Igbos or we looked like Igbos. Don't try to change the narrative.

You claim igbos want to claim Lagos by voting but you want to claim us as lagosians by collecting our tax🤔 Never

No one is believing your propaganda sir.

Thousands of Igbos voted on Saturday for GRV and the LP won I'm areas largely populated by Igbos.

There were unfortunate instances of security breaches and harassment of some Igbo residents in some isolated polling units but it wasn't a large scale as being deliberately propagated.

Probably because the unfortunate people were unfortunate indeed.

You're saying this because you are not a victim, injustice to one is injustice to all. Tomorrow might be your turn
