I'm a very private person and I love to define relations and set boundaries. Let work be work, school be school , home be home, church be church. You must be a special being to cut across all.

Right now, my boss is blocked from seeing my WhatsApp status. Only one of my colleagues have access to that.

People just don't understand.

I did/do this exact thing. I love my privacy. If it’s work, we work and go. No intrusion.

You don’t have to accept their friends request. Just tell them that you are not active there. If you must accept their request then go to your post viewers settings and block them from seeing your posts. Workmates are not your friends and most times they will try to personalize anything or everything you post no matter how innocent it is. Your innocent jokes might even be used as a basis your gauge your attitude at work or even be used against you in times of crisis.
I am not friends with my workmates on Facebook or any other platform, I’ve blocked all my workmates from seeing my posts and stuff on WhatsApp also.
Just do your best thing.

I never confirmed any of mine till date. Nosey bastards have a trait of stealing to consult their marine shrine spirit they worship secretly. They are still there a decade after. I no send useless insecure people.

i was on Facebook sometime ago and a female colleague saw me and asked "wow, you are on the blue app,add me now" i said to her "you don't reply my msg via green (wtsap) why should I add you here..

truth is,i prefer having my colleagues on WhatsApp than Facebook... i believe knowing me at Whatsapp is ok and is limited than you knowing me on Facebook where you see every post and comments I made...naa is boring
