Gloating in ignorance.

What ignorance?
Was Nigeria's 1999 Constitution not drafted under the military govts led by northern military dictators?

Did a Senator Osunbor seek to amend the vexed portions of the constitution?

Prof. I beg don't loud it, let Obi lawyers get something from him to eat and take care of their families. Obi lawyers know now, but just want to get their own share of obidient contributions. All allegations Obi leveled on Tinubu are just too baseless, obidients will soon be abusing judges now when they throw away their allegations over the court window

Prof is now the grand norm, like there hasn't been other Profs who have expressed contrary views about the same matter? All of you should go and sleep and prepare for your day in court.

I still find it hard to understand that people will fail to see that the law is only trying to elevate the FCT or equate it with a State. This means the winner needs 2/3 of 37 entities (36 states plus 1 FCT).

The interpretation that the winner must win FCT is more or less saying that the constitution gives the FCT a higher status than the states.

This cannot be true. but what do I know?

I wonder why some people are acting like this case is a new case, let's go back to what the supreme court said in the case between Buhari and Obasanjo in 2008.

You follow the precedent untill it is reviewed and a new judgment is passed.
I wonder why you guys are making noise everywhere.

This guy's interpretation is really funny.

Make APC dey play. Let them not go and start preparing for rerun, like their internal memos have suggested. Let them continue petting Baba blue.
When Tribunal sacks them, them go dey alright.

You're only deceiving your self and being on a delusional hope, Abuja residents have equal rights of citizenship with other Nigerians in different states. Hence, it's equivalent to others and can't be given special preference above other states in Nigeria. So it's an effort in futility for OBI and LP. Tinubu will rule this country till 2027.

There is a place inside that constitution that says after 10 years that crime doesn’t count anymore

That's a different section, I am talking about the below.

Choose 3 colors from green, red, orange and white.

Choose 3 colors from green, red, orange plus white.

Which of the two scenarios above must white be compulsory?

You are being deceitful. What you should have written is:
"⅔ of 3 colors, green, red, orange, and white."
Which is exactly what the constitution says.
Instead you are arguing what it says is:
"⅔ of 4 colors, green, red, orange and white."
Which of course doesn't make any sense.

Instead of deceiving ourselves, let's work to change language of the constitution NOW!

PoliticalUpdate:
An Edo criminal should not interprete the constitution for us. The same man that tried to steal someone else's mandate - in the person of Adams Aliyu Oshoimole. Simple use of English would have interpreted the simple meaning of the conjunction "And" - meaning inclusive. To argue such is to try to sound foolish. The word "And" points to the fact that there is a special clause attached.
The capital of the federation is the melting pot of all local ethnicities in the federation. To get 2/3 in other states invariably means you will score 2/3 of the FCT; which is made up of all tribes. Every past president who scored majority of the votes during past elections all won the FCT. Many are trying to overlook the relevance of the FCT - which is an indicator to know if you were accepted by all quarters of the nation. To score 2/3 of states means a larger part of the populace wants you to rule them - that was the reason for the directive. So, if you didn't win Abuja, it means your votes were inflated or, a lie. This is actually Tinubu's greatest kryptonite, and the APC are trying to overlook it. If you didn't rig your way in then you would have won Abuja. I am for Justice not a party. Tinubu just came in at a wrong time, and he should have been advised against it, but FF Kolanut and co, are busy stealing his money - the same persons who have accussed him in the past.

Keep fooling yourself, you will soon face reality

udeh3:
If FCT is like other states, how come they have the minister of FCT and not a governor. Each State has 3 senators from the senatorial zones while Abuja is Abuja having just one(1)

So, clearly, with the above explanation, Abuja isn't of like other states

Section 299 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

The provisions of this Constitution shall apply to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as if it were one of the States of the Federation; and accordingly -

(a) all the legislative powers, the executive powers and the judicial powers vested in the House of Assembly, the Governor of a State and in the courts of a State shall, respectively, vest in the National Assembly, the President of the Federation and in the courts which by virtue of the foregoing provisions are courts established for the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja;

(b) all the powers referred to in paragraph (a) of this section shall be exercised in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution; and

(c) the provisions of this Constitution pertaining to the matters aforesaid shall be read with such modifications and adaptations as may be reasonably necessary to bring them into conformity with the provisions of this section.

- NOTE: "this Constitution shall apply to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as if it were one of the States of the Federation"

- So the Governor is - The president who administer it through his/her Minister for FCT

- Abuja lawmakers are the National Assembly members.

- Also Abuja is not big enough to have 3 Senators, reason it has only one.

The people calling themselves Obedients will never listen to facts. They have blocked brains. Even when professor of laws talk they still argue. Their Lord and saviour (PETER OBI) could not even tender any facts and figures to show how he won at the tribunal. In the eyes of electoral law , he is not even a member of Labour Party because he did not meet the required 30 days membership of a political party before primaries.
THE MOST AMAZING THING IS THAT OBEDIENTS ALWAYS LACK SENCE OF OBJECTIVITY

Thank God you are not a judge, that's why you need to pass different classes to become a judge 😆

Sun is not a planet, it's not in the same category as a planet, but Abuja is a geographical space in Nigeria, same Nigerians, no special qualification, they had to insert 'and Abuja' because Abuja is a capital not a state, but the law didn't give votes there special status.

It's normal for people to use 36 states and Abuja, because it is a capital not a state. Every vote counts as one. Anyhow suit yourself, seems you obidients just like being right, rather than figuring out what is right. It's shameful obidients can't understand primary school grammar.

Ogbeni, Talk now till Tomorrow.

Does NOT change the Fact that Tinubu FAILED WOEFULLY in areas where Literate, Sane and Knowledgeable Nigerians inhabit. sad

Apart from INEC Manipulation, he got most votes from Kebbi, Zamfara, Yobe, Jigawa, Sokoto, and Gombe. 😟
States where Citizens are mostly ILLITERATES and ignorant of National events. embarassed

Tinubu is the WEAKEST Presidential 'winner' we have seen since 1979.
He is a FRAUD. undecided 😏
