One major benefit is rather than hustling alone, you have two adults sharing responsibilities, bills, and all, making the weight significantly lighter on each. Compare that to a situation in which a single individual has to carry all of that burden alone.

There is this couple who live in this big ginormous house that is able to pay the bill for their house and still enjoy themselves while they are at it, taking at least 3 vacations each year. A single person would have a hard time achieving and maintaining such a lifestyle.

The major reason for marriage is companionship which every adults desire except celibates. Every human is a social animal in the sense that we need people around us to function properly.
