..but before. you go, counter my points in direct response to what I wrote. You accused the white man of doing some things in 1914, same thing your country people still do in 2024

Throwing low jibes is not how you engage in discourse

Where are the jibes? You accepted those qualities for yourself because you agreed with his "writing" .
I havent written anything about you that you haven't written about yourself.

I respect you enough to describe you the way you describe yourself.
How have I wronged you?

Use both the provisional and Nigerian license to your advantage.

Use the below hack. In your case, first use the provisional, wait like a month (don't drive or get an accompanying driver) then update your details. In my case, I updated from provisional to full UK after 4 months and my price remained the same, I only paid £73 update fee.

Please which insurance company do you use?

Sorry Sir.
London Bridge predates 1914.

What Desmond Elliot built in Lagos (in 2020) does not even come close to what the Romans built (as first London Bridge) circa 43 AD.

Have

Any Tax specialists here? Anything else we need to know? Any new tax relief schemes from the government that we don't know about?

See Hustla, I like you but that quote by LL no be am. You mentioned Shogun so I’m sure you know what the Japanese called them; Barbarians and with good reason.

These people erased our history and made slavery our only history. They merged Kingdoms and Towns that had no business living together as a country just so they could feast on our wealth.
We know of the London Bridge and the Great Wall of China but Benin Kingdom had a wall greater than what China built but you’ll hardly hear of it because they erased everything that made us great.

You as you finish school now, them don release new rules to weaken your chances of getting a job. It’s in their DNA to take and make you look like the demon when they are the true wolves.

Anyway, enjoy Shogun. I go watch Episode 6 this weekend.

But this should be applicable to other insurance providers because some people here have said their prices remained the same when they updated their licences. Just that they didn't mention the provider.

It's been interesting following the discussion, the one I'll simply tag "insights into the African mentality."

So many scholars have attempted to find an acceptable explanation to the current state of Africa (black Africa maybe) without much success.

I'll say we Africans are not genetically inferior to any other race, the likes of Ben Carson have proved that the black skin does not infer an inferior brain - infact, superior in some cases as it were.

But, there's a problem. Africans seem unable to govern themselves successfully, I really don't know why. That's where the real issue is, there seem to be something eternally holding us down as long as we remain in our continent but once we step out (under a foreign leadership) the orderliness in us radiates. We were already excellent in Nigeria, excelling in Nigerian Universities, climbing the corporate ladder or successfully managing a business in that toxic Nigerian economy definitely shows we have that innate ability to compete... But definitely not orderly and forward thinking as a people.

The facts pointing to underdevelopment/backwardness in Africa cannot be overlooked. Talking about the whites erasing our history and all, I'll say we allowed it happen. Whenever this neocolonialism and stuff come up, I counter it by saying slave trade was ongoing in Africa before the colonialists came around (Efunsetan Aniwura Iyalode Ibadan, ancient warlords trading slaves as spoils of war etc...) they only took advantage of an existing culture.

Hopefully something would click someday in Africa and there'll be a major shift in our collective mentality and approach to life generally. That's the only way forward.

So so sorry the NHS is failing you.
Even people with cancer who are supposed to be seen in 2 weeks are falling through the cracks.

That private consultation is to see the specialist. You will need to pay for Investigations and imaging.

The surgery will cost about £4k again.

If I were you ,I would fly home to Nigeria, find a gynecologist who works in the Teaching Hospital or FMC of my state, go to his private clinic and get the surgery done. Its the exact same thing only cheaper and faster.

( you can also choose top hospitals in Lagos or Abuja, they have cutting edge tech too)

For procedures involving surgery of head ,neck, lungs ,heart, spine, probably best to wait on the nhs

Honestly, I think this is the best solution. As long as the OP's visa is in order and no immigration wahala expected, please travel "home" and get that surgery done. At least if you have your money in Nigeria, there are things one can enjoy. Wish you the best... Hmmm fibroid, the year was 2016. Get that thing out.

My questions:
1. Does this apply to NHS staff/candidates ONLY?

2. If it applies to ALL Carers and Senior Carers, does that mean people in this category can still bring their dependants, still change employer (of course within the same SOC) and extend their visa?

I have been arguing with some persons about this interpretation.

Anyone with a better understanding, please?

If they merged you, how have you not been able to organize a referendum abi election to debate on a a split? No be for our front UK leave EU? Ours may be a bit complicated but if we arent able to come together to do this, how are we even arguing about LLs assertion?

If we want to argue, we quickly run to the old Benin empire to argue...what have we done since then? What have we contributed to the world? How about we build another bridge? Or na colonial masters say make we no build?

In the 2000s, China was known to Nigerians as a shit hole, where inferior goods are produced but look at China now. Since 1960, what have we achieved as a people?

How can a country be on a downward slope since 1960 and you're telling me LL is racist and oyinbo people erased our history kinikan

Your argument is looking absolute and that's it's weakness. For you to be able to take a decision to relocate shows forward thinking in a way, and that already disproves LL's assertion. Except there's something else you're trying to say.

Is there any one who sells original body creams imported from Nigeria?
I’ve tried EBay but what was sold to me was an expensive fake cream. I use FAIR and WHITE. The one that comes in blue plastic. My skin is now becoming darker and dry. I’ve tried several products locally but none seem to be working on my skin.
Any suggestion? And if someone is coming from Nigeria can help me buy some, I’m happy to pay for the cream and luggage space. Thank you

Lovely conversations going on... and trust we are enjoying the long weekend..

Twist/turn/Ignore facts won't change the truth.......

There is something wrong somewhere.. and you can't keep giving excuses or ignoring it.. it doesn't change the truth

Even if you mention slavery as an excuse for why the black communities haven't prospered, who sold their own people ? We did.. our ancestors sold their own people for mirrors, tobacco, jewelries, commission from both buyers and sellers, etc

What excuse do you give for a country blessed with natural resources not excelling when countries without a single natural resource have excelled tremendously (Switzerland and Japan as examples)

What excuse do you give for House of Reps member empowering his people with shoe shining kits in the north?

What excuse do you give for an oil rich country of over 200m people that has grown poverty rate from generation to generation and from government to government across different political parties?

What excuse do you have for a country that the Senate approved N82.5bn to construct 427 boreholes?

I can go on and on..

I saw Vision 20:20 cheesy

The real example of having a vision and following it up with a strategy is Dubai, UAE for example... it was just bare sand.. desert... but they had leadership that cared and had ambition to prosper its' people.. selfless leadership.. to serve and not to just be served

There are documentaries on how they achieved it... you will shed some tears.. something must drop down your cheeks

Excuses excuses and more excuses

I don't care about LL or whoever..
