CAN also can lobby it interest to the president elect. Lobbies are legal and allowed all over the world. Infact Israel has the biggest lobby group in the US and most European Union. But I don't in anyway think this helps the Muslims masses in anyway, maybe Muslims elite. Infact record shows Muslims Masses benefited in Christian government than in Muslim government example been the introduction of Sharia to Northern Nigeria during Obasanjo tenure, reformation of almajiri schooling system , yakowa Ramadan initiatives in Kaduna etc

How about most Northern states like Kano , Katsina, etc . This election has proven that there is 3 to 1 ratio on Muslims and Christians population in Nigeria. But all that is not a reflection of progress on the masses, it's only the elites that enjoys such statistics.

It's all about religion and not about competency...the reason Nigeria will never grow. The same religion that forbids criticizing someone in authority simply because it is believed that whatever they are worshiping is the one who places someone in position.

Why is it that we never ever hear from any members of MURIC other than Ishaq Akintola? What proof is there that MURIC is anything more than a one-man "organization"? It's typical of Nigeria's lazy and irresponsible "journalism" that this blabbermouth is repeatedly passed off as if he were a spokesperson for anyone other than himself and his own peculiar views, with absolutely no effort ever made to ascertain just how many active members his "MURIC" actually has, what their demographic makeup is, etc. It's as if Nigerian "journalists" find the idea of MURIC "too good to check", because Akintola can be depended upon to give them the eye-catching, inflammatory headlines they need to sell papers, veracity be damned.
