Interesting. Everything about Dangote comes from Nigeria. The country has created or made this man by giving him all the opportunity and advantage of becoming what he is today.

Already servicing debt without starting production.

.. that is why I like the private sector..they perform their job efficiently and better and produce better positive results, not like the public sector, government sector full of corruption

This is how u pay debt, unlike Nigeria that borrows to pay her debt.

I'd be happy if fuel comes down to N100 per litre

That's impossible. Dangote refinery will reduce the price of petroleum products if it can meet our local demands.

What the refinery will do is remove the logistic cost of shipping petrol from other countries to Nigeria because they will also have to buy crude, probably with USD.

If we still get PMS at #250 per litre after total deregulation, then it's the best thing that happened to this country.

One major benefit of having this refinery is that it will save Nigeria a lot of USD hitherto used for importing refined PMS.

Pandorians no go happy because of this news

Subsidy will likely be remove after Dangote Refinery fully start operation in late July.

I see fuel selling between #300 and #500.

In 5-10 years time, the price will likely fall when we have other modular and large refineries operating.

More like N500 based on current price of crude and our exchange rate. Modular and even a revamped port Harcourt refinery won't on their own bring down the price of what we pay in Naira if crude oil is $100 and our exchange rate is $/N1000

Everyone that is saying that the FG is helping Dangote to become rich should read MIDAS TOUCH chapters 2-3 by Donald Trump & Robert Kyasoki cool. Any government is ready to make you rich if your venture will employ more people bcs no government is ready to bear the cost of paying salaries undecided . Meanwhile, I suspect that the FG borrowed some funds from world bank for Dangote. Dangote belongs to the I group according to MIDAS touch. Air peace is also enjoying some tax incentive and easy forex access from CBN. cool
