thought this tips would help,

1. Be sure there is trust in the relationship. The main fruit of keeping a long distance relationship is trust, you have to be able to trust your partner. It's difficult to do that because you don't really know what goes on the other side.

2. Have patience.
You signed up for this you need to wait.

3. Communication. Another important key, where possible communicate daily by email text or chat. Discuss interesting topics. Keep the discussion healthy. Forget the world and the problems. Show it to each other that the long distance is working for you. Tell your girl or guy you love him every time you communicate. It won't hurt. Remember somehow to make up for the time you had apart.

4. Make sacrifices. Love is kind. You sacrifice many things for love. What ever may come up during you stay alone when you are lonely waitng for your love. There some things. Good things will come up. That is what you need to sacrifice.

5. Passion continuously have the same passion you had when you first fell in love with your lover.

6. Be hopefully. Have the hope that one day you will meet, don't look at it like a forever thing.

7. Be realistic Have a plan, when are you guys gonna meet, will you ever meet? How long? Is the relationship a serious one? Don't just be hanging in there.

8. Be committed Do not ever attempt to cheat. If you love the person, wait no matter how long it takes, maybe if you try cheating, you may find someone who may make you forget your old lover.

9. Do not care about people opinion. Don't give a sh!!t about what they say or think of your relationship. There are friends and other people who will be saying crap like "why are you wasting your time waiting for that guy/girl?" If you got a good thing there, wait for it. Don't let peer pressure push you to do something you may regret later on. cool

10. Be creative No matter the distance, don't forget that you are in a relationship just like anyother person, you need to nourish your relationship. Suprise your partner once in a while with creative and romantic gifts etc etc etc.

Long distance relationships aren't as simple as maintaining as just giving tips. Though, they're all good tips, but it just depends on whether both parties understand these tips.

If you really want to keep your long term relationship alive, you need to take it seriously. Your love must be same for your partner, even if you both are apart. You both have to keep your relationship on high priority. Always receive each other’s calls and reply to messages as soon as possible. Never fail to express your feelings to each other.
