This is bad na, I'm not igbo but you don't stylishly victimize people in the name of development. There are professional ways to save a dilapidated building without demolishing. If the state engineers inspect the said building and see that it can be saved, why not toe that lane for the ones that can be saved. Then demolish the ones beyond salvage.

Can you mention the ways

You will never hear Dangote and his people call Yoruba lazy or coward. Neither will you hear Dangote and his people call Lagos a no man's land or say they built Lagos.
So that's automatic approval to acquire as many lands as possible?

Declare Oduduwa Republic so that the Igbos can go home.
Arewa 12 Sharia states had since 1999 drawn the boundaries for their Arewa Islamic Sharia Republic.
What are you waiting for? The richest countries in the world have no crude oil and gas deposits. Infact, Switzerland 🇨🇭 has no mineral resources, it's mountainous and no access to sea.
don't wait for us to declare anything just go back to your territory

That's an animal's way of thinking: in one country, one ethnic group must not live in another territory in the country.

Let the demolishing start fast. It's painful seeing people die of building collapse.

Everywhere in a country is land for citizens of the country, no man's land for all the citizens of the country. Only an animal will not understand this. Only an animal will reserve any part of a country as land for only his/her ethnic group. Una no get complete senses.

Lagos was developed so far with proceeds from crude oil and gas deposits in the SS and the SE.

instead of demolishing it,,why not vacate d building, lock up d building and ask d landlord to renovate it.....Everything no be by breaking

They did that 7 years ago, sent letters to the landlords of the old buildings but since they refused to listen and renovate their buildings, the Lagos government has to break it down.
Next time get your information right before making noise online, it’s not until the building collapse on your colleagues head before action would be taken undecided

If the building is in bad shape let the government do the needful, but if it has to do with politics they better don't start what will cause problem.I believe they are many bad building is lagos and not only alaba market.

Lagos is not in South east but in South west and Lagos government can do whatever they want with dilapidated buildings that have been marked for renovation since 2016. Use your head or take your problem to your own Land.

Please if you don't have a clear information just shut up and don't say anything..

This has nothing to do with hatred for Igbos or anything....

The government is 100% right to this. Most of these building has been issued letters to renovate there building over the years but have turned deaf ears to that.

Some foolish ones decided to contribute money to pay so that the content of the letter wouldn't come to light.....

After 7 years till now nothing has been done.

If you say this is something agianst the Igbos then I'll tell you that you're just sentimental a d unnecessarily emotional.

3 plazas close to my store renovated there's, why didn't they mark them too for demolition since it is a fight against the Igbos?

I am Igbo as well but something's we Igbos should do sometimes is to calm down

The plaza where I have my shop in is also facing same thing. The ceiling keeps calling. How is that a safe place to do business?...

What if one day youre in your shop and the building falls on you? Who will you blame for that ....

Please let's see the truth and call it truth Biko......

I hate nonsense....

I wish the government can arrest that useless drunkard in that video that boldly said that it was because Igbos didn vote for Tinubu nor sanwo that's why they want to destroy the building ... That man should be arrested. He is a useless fellow... Bloody illiterate.

You had better close the putrid mouth oozing out falsehood as propaganda.

With all eyes on lagos, one thing they shouldn't forget is that there are yorubas in other parts of the country too. And it wont be nice if other regions replicate the gesture and start seeing the yorubas as destitutes whose structures must be demolished

I note you said other parts of the country.

Why would anyone want to make a Yoruba destitute by demolishing their structures in Kaduna, Bida or Jos?

What would be the reasons?

Bolded. They took you to school but you learned nothing good. Four SE states are oil producing areas; as well as contain the largest gas deposits in Nigeria 🇳🇬.
The other rubbish you wrote are not worth paying attention to.

Every other day; it's using tractors to bulldoze the shops of Igbos in Lagos. Even primitive people would not conduct government this way.

You can leave Lagos without the need of anyone declaring anything.

No one is forcing you to stay in Lagos by not declaring anything.

You are the truly sick for thinking that you or any group of people in Nigeria can succeed in grounding the Igbo in Nigeria.
The 1967-1970 encounter ended the way it did because of foreign powers aiding Nigeria side. The foreign powers have since seen the evil that has been going on in Nigeria since then, and will be neutral when what you people provoke starts.
FYI; no Nigerian ethnic group or combination of ethnic groups in Nigeria, is capable of grounding the Igbo in Nigeria.

You honestly think if foreign powers did not intervene, then Biafra would have beaten Nigeria? Or even just Northern Nigeria on its own?

In bold. Northern Nigeria of 1967-1970 is no more the Northern Nigeria of 2023.
Don't let the SW provoke fracas in Nigeria because of this Lagos madness. Enuf said.

After all, when Akinola Aguda recommended that Lagos cease to be federal capital territory of Nigeria, most of the Yoruba in Lagos moved out of Lagos to Abuja. Many Igbos stayed behind in Lagos and continued to pay taxes for the development of Lagos.

This is the guise yorubas have been operating under. Unfortunate most yorubas have ur mentality. Cos igbos exercise their right to vote in their numbers like every citizen doesn't mean they're dragging control of ur state. U obviously can't compete & cannot stand the organic social dominance life style of igbos hence the pull down syndrome.
Which yeye right are you exercising in another man’s state? The same right you cannot exercise in your own poverty reeking state where opportunities are scare and far in between. You need to rescue your enclaves first before pitching your tents where you are not needed.

Trying to usurp the people that provided opportunities and platforms for you to escape abject poverty that drove you from your state to take refuge in Lagos.

…many ingrates like you think you can use the Endsars momentum to seize power from the Yorubas through one omo ale whose heritage is Igbos but pretend to be Yoruba, but don’t speak Yoruba or think Yoruba.

You are not the only tribe in Lagos and other major tribe like Hausas and Igbiras knows where they came from.. only Igbos do not know their home town, we will let them know very soon.

in politics by forcing your own kind (GRV) on the people of Lagos to seize control and pretend you are you are exercising your right will never favor you, if you intend to live in peace and continue to prosper in Lagos.

You cannot be behaving badly and undermining the authority of Yorubas in Lagos state and go to bed to sleep. Pikin wey say him mama no go sleep, himself no go sleep. Na Oky una dey drag Lagos.

You are telling your landlord he has no right over his land and you expect to sleep peacefully in the same house. Una never know Wetin go happen soon. We are more brilliant than you people and we will make it count.
