If crack economists are not deployed into strategic areas in Nigeria's economic ecosystem... Nigeria is in for some very, very tough times ahead, with this current capitalist storm raging.

Basically, this is not the time to appoint traditional politicians to occupy sensitive national economic roles.

Advanced Economic and Finance specialists really need to be called in.

We have different outlooks of life.

News is Nigerians hardly die of hunger.

So I wonder where the poverty is coming from.

This means over 50% of Nigerians are POOR!

It took APC just 8 years to do the impossible! Damn! undecided

In other words, about 828 million people will wake up every day having no idea when or where their next meal will come from, and many will go to bed that day without eating anything. This is according to a 2021 UN report. The UN further states that of these 828 million people, 25,000 will die today, including more than 10,000 children.

He kept mentioning 828 million poor people...828 million where??

That is why they are 'successful' in Nigerian politics. Poverty is a tool of power ascendancy. Southwest is getting there.

Precisely!

Poverty has been weaponized aided by Ethnicity and Religion!

And without mincing words; over 30% are stark illiterates too.

How can you overcome poverty without knowledge, vision or foresight

I hav carefully observed the level of illiteracy in the land, and i hav noticed that it is quite alarming.
Where a lot of our youths don't even know the difference between needs and wants.

A place where everybody jst wanna ride super cars like Davido, but never thought of being something (school or acquire skills first)

I agree. Reason why President Tinubu, having removed fuel subsidy, concluded plan to introduce tuition in Fed institutions and floated Naira, should NOW unveil his plan to stimulate the economic from agriculture, fishery, SMEs, entertainment, sports, etc. Also, plan to incentivize industrialization and entrepreneurship. It is about time.

My advice is that whatever Pres. Tinubu is doing, he should use his goodwill to involve state governors for multiplier effects in states across Nigeria. Unlike most of Buhari's programs that were only FG-driven with little impact.

Mumu, the 3 things you stated Tinubu did in your first paragraph are policies that will further impoverish the already poor Nigerians.

I thought you were being satirical initially, but i later realized you were serious, and undoubtedly one of the hypocritical asslickers.
It's amazing how poorly you guys reason!
