and your idiot idiotic lots up north are still stoning people to death because of one white Arabian paedophile called Mohammed. Guy,just get out,u northerners are the worst. You guys are not supposed to live among human beings. Animals with outdated brains
the way you say north as if it is one piece...even in states like Borno we have indigenous Christians in the southern part. Same as Plateau, Taraba etc with majority Christians...Gombe, Adamawa even Kano etc etc

And the way of thinking is abysmal. You don't say everyone thinks in same way because some do a certain thing. Same thing can be said about you and you will get mad

The second guy Hamza Kabiru was my friend back then in A.B.U Zaria. Infact we were doing Human Physiology together when he rewrote Jamb and later got admission into same ABU to study Medicine and surgery. Just imagine the sacrifices he made and all that have gone down the drain with no reward for his labour. Death is real my brothers and sisters.
I hope God in His infinite goodness and mercy calls us home when we're in a state of grace.

Rest in peace KB as we fondly called you

It should be mandatory that everybody on the boat wears a life jacket. These deaths were 100% preventable.

Not what you think brother, that is no ordinary water..... That is water coursing with strong currents.... Even the fear of capsizing and going into such fast moving water body is enough to send shock waves to the water phobic inexperienced individuals even with lifejackets on. One have to maintain absolute calmness to survive in such situations and this you will agree will only come from experience of water. RIP to the departed ones, may their beloved souls rest in peace..... Amen.

I see some southerners made some silly comments about the two northern guys that got drowned and they were attacked by mostly southerners. But the north will never criticize each other for making silly comments about the south. How will this country move forward with these kind of mindset. “ even if my brother is wrong, I will not complain mindset “ is what is holding us down as a nation and sadly one section of the country is very good at it.

Swimming should be a subject in school curriculum. It's a necessity, not luxury. A survival skill that every human no matter the class. You don't need to go pro, just basic Swimming skills to survive in water or atleast float.

100% it is a very important life skill. There was a big cultural push in the early 1900s in the US to increase the number of people who could swim, and this saved a lot of lives. At one point most US universities required passing a swim test in order to graduate, and even today some of the more famous universities -- MIT, Dartmouth, Columbia -- still require it.

Dear Seun, The prevalent tribal and Religion bigotry and derogatory comments that have been persistently spreading on this forum need to be addressed. It is of utmost importance that you take immediate action to address this issue, as it is rapidly spiraling out of control.

The increasing instances of tribal bigotry and the use of derogatory language on this forum are completely unacceptable and go against the values of inclusivity, respect, and equality that it strives to uphold. This behavior not only undermines the integrity of this platform but also perpetuates division and hostility among users.

To ensure a safe and respectful environment for all forum participants, I strongly urge you to take the following steps:

Implement Strict Moderation: you need to establish a robust system of content moderation that actively identifies and removes any tribal bigotry or derogatory comments from the forum. This may involve recruiting additional moderators, implementing AI-powered tools for content analysis, or a combination of both.

Enforce Community Guidelines: Review and reinforce existing community guidelines to explicitly condemn and prohibit any form of tribal bigotry, hate speech, or derogatory language. Clearly communicate these guidelines to all users and ensure they understand the consequences for violating them.

Enhance User Reporting Mechanisms: Streamline the process for users to report instances of tribal bigotry or derogatory comments. Implement a user-friendly reporting system that allows individuals to flag offensive content, making it easier for moderators to take prompt action.

By implementing these measures, you can take a significant step towards combating tribal bigotry and derogatory comments on this forum. It is crucial that you act swiftly to ensure a safe and inclusive space for all users, where mutual respect and constructive dialogue can flourish

You're wasting your time. Is it not the same Seun that makes people pledge alliance to his Mohammed, when they want to comment on Muslim topics but doesn't do that for Christians topics? NL is nothing but a glorified beer joint, and Seun knows useless news drive traffic for average Nigerians. Just go through the topics and comments you'll know there's no hope for that country.

It's just like going to battlefield without a bulletproof.
Oga shut up, no life jackets and you think 11 out of 14 persons will survive..

Those guys didn’t buckle their life jackets properly..
Or it became loose in the struggle..

The marina resort and all water travels between Calabar and Oron has a strict life jacket enforcement..

The Nigerian navy won’t even allow boats pass if the is a single person not wearing one
