COOK-A-THON OR COOK-A-WAR

I just came across a post that made me write this now.

Nigerians are something else.
Is it desperation or poverty or just attention seeking
First of all, I didn’t see any reason for the whole hype around this trend called cook-a-thon, what exactly is the point of cooking for 1 million hours? But that aside though

This cooking trend started after Hilda Bacci took up the challenge, I applaud her for that, it takes a lot of balls to cook for 100 hours, I must give it to her, she killed it.

Now the problem is not Hilda, the problem is the rising morons jumping onto the record-breaking, for God’s sake Hilda just managed to win this, the best you can do is let her enjoy the moment of victory, go and break another record instead of putting yourself in a competition with the lady Hilda.

Nigerians have a bad attitude right from time and it is the attitude of jumping into a business the moment they see that one person is making a success from that business, it doesn’t matter whether they understand the business or not, they will jump into it, they did it with POS, they did it with the church, they did it with comedy, they did it with fashion designing, the list goes on. There is a POS on every corner you turn, there is a church on every street you enter, everybody is now a comedian online, there are 50 fashion designers on one street, Nigeria why?
And now Hilda put up an effort to break a record and all of a sudden people are now jumping unto the trend like it’s jollof rice.
One girl called Dammy entered the cook-a-thon trend and we couldn’t tell if she was doing a cooking or singing or dancing challenge, at some point she vanished from her live video, she was moving around with security escorts and getting praises from church members, till today we don’t know if she is still cooking.
Another person also entered the trend and after 50 hours that one slept off.
Another person a man entered the trend and soon faded away.
At some point, some monkeys tried to make it become a tribal battle.
Why are you people an enemy of progress? If you want to challenge the new record holder at least you will wait for some time before you challenge her record. Hilda waited for some years before challenging the previous record holder.
It is a shame that some of us cannot celebrate the achievements of others instead our first instinct is to collect that achievement from them.

I think that these people who jumped into the cook-a-thon challenge thought they would get the same level of media attention as Hilda Bacci but they were shamefully disappointed.
Hilda had not even collected her award from Guinness yet people began jumping onto the trend.
Please you all should stop being unfortunate in life, life na turn by turn, wait for your time and allow others to enjoy theirs, no put sand inside another person's food.
To challenge the record is not bad but wait for some time so that it doesn’t look like envy.

it's embarrassing but people thought it was cool
