Removing subsidies is not a bad idea per say. But you need to set the groundwork in place so that the masses do not suffer viz:
Make your people brace themselves for its removal
Get palliative ready

Support Dangote refineries so a reasonable amount for pms is in place

Provide monies to states and local governments to build their transport infrastructures...

I think the end of 3024 would have been a better time for subsidies removal
