The worst happened to igbos in the north. Are you pretending to be dumb or you are really dumb. A simple google search and even asking your dumbest brother on the street will tell you how igbos have really suffered in the hand of north

And last I checked, The richest African woman , Folorunsho Alakija alone is richer than all the audio Anambra billionaires combined
The richest men in Nigeria, we never see Igbo for Forbes list. Only Yoruba and Hausa

A statement was made that igbos have the worst hostility in southwest, when history recorded their worst hostility in the north.

Why are you ungrateful to the land where you all flock to and have peace of mind.

Just yesterday, a video was trending of how Enugu youths were migrating to southwest like refugees in their hundreds. And this happen on daily basis

Yet you hate that same southwest. Why are you people this evil. Seems the jealousy burns through you soul

Government college, Umuahia was founded in 1929. It's the oldest secondary school in southeast Nigeria

First oldest secondary school in South west Nigeria was founded in 1859 (6th June) in Lagos State and remains oldest secondary school in Nigeria.
First Secondary in South East: 1929
First Secondary in South West: 1859
Year difference = 1929 - 1859 = 70 years apart

Therefore, south west had been enlighten 70 years before south east were located. No wonder south west is more sophisticated. Instead of going on rapid development, Ekpa and his Ipob/esn boys still dragging the region backward

We can look at poverty rate too

Igr is money generated from taxes abi?

Which can be gotten majorly from companies okwia? not that brown roof dwellers can afford to pay tax o most of it comes from companies

I'm just trying to be more practical

GDP is the total value of all the goods and services that are made and sold within a country’s borders, regardless of who owns the businesses or who buys the products. For example, if a Nigerian company makes a car in Nigeria and sells it to a Nigerian customer, that counts towards Nigeria’s GDP.

GDP within states in a country is measured by adding up the value of all the goods and services that are produced and sold within each state’s borders in a year. This is called GDP by state or state GDP. It is similar to how GDP for a country is measured, but it only counts the production that happens within a specific state. For example, if a company in Anambra makes a car and sells it to a customer in Abuja, that counts towards Nigeria’s GDP, but not towards Anambra state GDP, because it was not produced within Anambra borders

Shey you grab

So Gdp shows how economically viable a state is and how it can sustain it self. grin

IGR is just mere tax money raise by state from different levies and taxes and it doesn't show not necessarily show how viable the welfare of its people is because most of its variables are from companies and private firms

If you truly want to compare economy use GDP that's the standard everywhere cheesy

You are correct to a large extent.

But GDP can be very biased.

It doesn’t show income distribution, as long as GDP is concerned, 99% of the population can be in poverty while just 1% are billionaires which will raise the GDP of that particular nation.

And IGR alone is not gotten from companies, in fact personal income tax normally make up the highest percentage in IGR. And who are they taxing? Goats or humans?

So when analyzing the true state of a nation, use all the data available to make your predictions

From the GDP you posted, Ogun state is doing very well, from the IGR, ogun state is doing tremendously well and from poverty line, Ogun state is doing well.
So in all ramifications, southwest states are doing well

So this is about trust. The issue we are discussing was about hostility, the claim that the igbos suffered the worst hostility in the hands of southwest is false.

Have you asked yourself why others shouldn’t be wary of you two?
Why should we trust you
