This is not a good news
No oh.
It is very good news, abi is that not what we deserve?
Before you talk, they will say you are this or that. A whole countries currency being destroyed and we are watching. Nigerians being made poorer daily.
You will see charlatants silent here when they cannot ingeniously link it to tribalism.
One day one day, we will have sense.

When your export does not match with your import, this is what happens, Nigeria currently does not produce any commodity fir export, but only import most of her commodity, South Korea was in this mess years ago, one Korean Won to the dollar was a thousand won, but today the story is different, South Korea from consumption economy to production economy and their economy is stronger, your Samsung electronics, LG electronics, Etc are all produced and imported from South Korea, the question is why can Nigeria emulate South Korea.
All this grammer just to defend incompetent government. What were we exporting when PDP was there? From OBJ to GEJ what was the increase in Dollar rate? Only eight years of APC and we are almost 1k to a dollar and you're here speaking useless grammar.

I am on this thread deliberately cos we are not a coward . We are taking responsibility of the high dollar rate without blaming anyone.

Same way we will take the responsibility when the price come down to normal.

Btc is currently around $29k for months now but same btc is projected to hit $50k by December. That na expo

Abeg leave all this, Nigeria for over 16 years has never been producing, nigeria had dollar in check to a reasonable and little stable value.....naira wasn't falling freely like this .....when we have incompetent people with understanding in Govt handling things wrongly, that what you get...we should say it out and stop supporting rubbish.....since APC got into power, absolutely nothing has worked.

Re: Naira Inches Towards 1000 Naira To A Dollar by Bobbiee: 3:19pm On Aug 10, 2023
At this rate it will be 1,500 to a dollar by April. Soon our Naira would be completely useless, like the Zimbabwean dollar. God will continue to curse, kill, and punish the people of the Sad Waste and those Northern sub human mongoloids. First, God would make them barren so they would go extinct. They are a scourge on the Earth

If the Naira has been unified, where did you get parallel market? Tinubu is just a disaster right from the start.

Those of you who voted for, should hide their heads in shame!
Ode ni e ni? Unified simply means there won't be special rate for different level of user e.g pta, bta, dangote etc!

Tinubu did not in anyway make even.the rates at both ends.

He gamed Nigerians. He knew he wanted to remove subsidy completely on forex rate but used style to say that he wanted to even the rates.

It is virtually same margin that we had during Buhari reign that we are still having here. . Difference is just the value.

Except you are a big business concerns that meets customs specifications you can't present Form M to get official rate (about #765) at any bank.

All man buys from black market basically except the big boys.

So the profit that the abokis were making is now being diverted to Wema Bank or some very few financial institutions that still out dollars.

Same scam, same.dimension.

It is you that don't get it. The guy was right.

The BTA, PTA, internation importations with form M etc had always bee done at same rate. The issue of talks.nd concern was equal rate at both ends, that is black market and exchange floors.

Everything the APC ever opposed came back to hunt them real good. Imagine APC asking in 2015 that "is #215 to a $ OK? Today it is almost @ the #1k mark

Say it as it is.
They took government out of propaganda, reason they are not fitting to remain there.
All the foot soldiers I wonder if they are not experiencing same economy now.
Their voices have drowned.
What policy has government done to salvage the free fall of naira till date, with all the praises people have heaped on him as the one who tamed the Atlantic?!

Mumu and olodo! What the new government did is to make the dollar sell for the same price at the CBN, with authorised dealers, and at the parallel market- This is what unification means!

Your brain is bereft of basic economic fundamentals or terminology. You are a disgrace as a person, a failure as a man.
