Custom becoming religion; that sits Satan as the centre of attraction. Hardly will you see a single custom or tradition of the people of the world that does not encourage sacrifice of animal and human and centre's around extol the flesh and devil in their modus operandi, this annoys God almighty bitterly as a just creator.
How will human avoid eternal destruction in hell with this rebellious obstinacy?

Jeremiah 10:3 (KJV) For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

Romans 1:25 (KJV) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Some Yoruba leaders/people are always behaving like they are fighting imaginary beings.

Every state in Nigeria observe traditional celebration or worship peculiar to them and do it quiey, happily and with love. Non indigenes in many cases are free to observe and even join in the celebration. They don't need a public holiday to observe it, communities just pick a convinent day/days and do their thing.
But I have observe that yoruba people in Lagos in particular like to act like they are using their tradition as a weapon of attack against some imaginary enemies and non indigenes.

You can feel it with the way they go about it as if anybody is preventing them from doing it. Even here in nl they will derail their own topic and use it to launch attack on non indigenes especially igbos. Y'all need to do better as no one really cares. Live and let live

"They don't need a public holiday to observe it" but you give public holidays to Christians and Muslims.

You're a disgrace to your ancestors.

We are not complaining. Why are Yoruba the most bothered about events in the SE?

See how you all are ranting on my mentions.

Guilty conscience is obvious

Very good. Worship your own gods. No praying to white Jesus and Arab Mohammed that is taking the prayers of Africans and using it to bless the Arabs and the Whites while the Africans stay suffering.

This is pace setting in Africa!
But we should go beyond window dressing and OFFICIALLY declare our native language, education, God as the right one.

These are the type of madness Emir of Ilorin is trying to avoid and he is right

They can't do that in Ilorin. .Ilorin is Fulani owned and ruled

The jurisdiction of the Emir ends in ilorin...which is just 4 or 5 LG. Kwara state has not less than 17 LG.

Life is not hard....live and let's live.

Yoruba are United....expect Ondo, Ekiti, and osun to follow.

Pagans are a curse to any society.

Governments in the West are now self sufficient and proud, and have now forgotten the all true GOD, and are now busy promoting idolatry up and down.

GOD is watching them.
It doesn't concern you what someone else choose to worship, or how they choose to relate to their creator. Your religion too can be seen as fake, hypocritical and idolatry in the eyes of others. Do yours, let them do theirs, it's a great disrespect and troublesome to want to control others, you are just a human being like them, stop looking for trouble.
