I agree that harsh features sold their talent but many black African women like harsh features( examples Adewale Akinnouye, djimon hounsou, and etc); some Black women also believe the stereotype the "darker the berry the sweeter the juice" . I have heard many african american women praise men like Wesley Snipes and Will smith in the same arena but call djimon Honsou ugly in celebrity site, but it wasn't only african american women many, many non-black women have called him ugly especially when he married Kimora Lee Simmons. I haven't been around a few but alot, and since I was born and grew up in this country I have encountered some with this discussion, especially since it is not secret non-black women in America love black men, specifically african american decent.
