Such a disgrace.
Another Buhari apologist. Blame government when not in government, and then absolve government of all blames when you are actually in government.
Every country have criminals, reckless drivers, armed robbers, etc.
Unfortunately, in Nigeria, a government incapable of fighting crimes will easily change the issue to religious and tribal issue.
A government when people who commit crimes are judged by who they know, their tribe and religion?
Instead of focusing on the issue and who's responsible for maintaining law and order you're here spewing nonsense.
Next, you will cry to God to come down and solve criminal problems in Nigeria while the police and DSS chase after political opponents.

The problem with Nigeria is bad government not bad people. Turning it around is cheap and wicked.
The average American is 10x worse than an average Nigerian as a human being, yet they have laws which are strongly obeyed.
In Nigeria members of the ruling party, presidents family etc are simply above the law, and yet people blame the common man for indiscipline.

Agbadorians are doing everything possible to surpass buhari. Buhari went to an international media to label his citizens as lazy and fraudulent - agbado is sponsors his minions to shift blame on Nigerians because he doesn't want to take responsibilities

Three days ago, a tiler in my neighbourhood was using someone's bike to convey tiles to a site.
He unfortunately met more than he bargained for on his way...

A construction company's truck hit him seriously on the road, this led to the total destruction of the bike and all he was carrying coupled with a lot of blemishes on the truck But he was lucky enough to have minor injuries and deep cut on his leg.

Though, no one was there to tell who was at fault but these were the after findings:

1. The Truck driver was coming from a sharp bend corner where he went to sell Diesel illegally from the truck.
2. The driver up till now ran and abandoned the truck, knowing the consequences of his illegal actions.
3. The Company is currently taking care of the tiler and the cost of fixing the spoilt truck (which is needed for urgent work).
4. They promised to get the owner, A BRAND NEW BIKE.

-------MY POINTS---------
As we keep complaining and blaming the govt. everyday, we fail to analyse and caution ourselves, Look at how this accident has affected the life of a hustler and the cost it will take the Company to solve this issue. This would cost more than 2million.
What if the guy had died?

Imagine the stupid examples flying around here. These people although sponsored have never stepped their foot outside the shores to understand how horrible and terrible in Europe, Asia and America are compared to Nigerians - yet their government still make their lives good and better.

If these sponsored minions were enlightened, they would have put in more work

one sided blame.. was the bike man supposed to be carrying tiles on a bike? was bike meant for something so strenuous like that?? the bike man played with his life and met another rekless driver driver on the way.. both of them are part of the problems in the country and both should be sued and have them fined

All human either black or white has default wickedness in them. It's the duty of the govt to enact and enforce laws that will restrict wrongdoings in the society.

Nigerian govt only punish the poor and protect the evil elites.

Your write up seem to create excuses for bad governance. If you understand human nature you wouldn't have thought this way.human are naturally born to bend the rule but mechanisms put in place made us seems like good human. This is one of the reasons why governance was put in place. Also religion and ethics.Things like this are bound to happen in a corrupt society.I am in no means exempt good citizenry.

Toh

Just like 2 weeks ago, I was waiting for one of the EPL game to start, 10 mins before the game, there was unusual light off, what's this on Saturday afternoon, after waiting for like 20 mins, I decided to take a walk with the hope the light would be back.

Wasn't in the mood of watching the ball outside, so was feeling somehow for not watching the kick off, on my way back, I saw a fresh accident which involved a motorcycle and a car, unfortunately, the bike guy died Instantly, immediately my worries dissapeared, was only worried about not watching ball while someone just lost his life and the person who killed him is in trouble.

I am still wondering how can a bike hit a car or a car hitting a bike to the extent of front windscreen broken.

Perhaps both the rider and the driver were in hurry to also go and watch the ball somewhere as the light off was general.

We have neglected our responsibilities while we still want to blame others for our woes .

Both your story and that of the poster have nothing to do with the headline.

This is why you have police to enforce the law but police are more interested in collecting money from innocent people.

Some smart Nigerians will also help police and the military commit election fraud then blame their fellow citizens for bad leadership.
