Seems it's the first thing they teach any IGP to speak few weeks after their appointment.

They issue this sort of order every now and then, and these checkpoints reappear shortly after. Was anyone prosecuted for ignoring a lawful order given by the IGP? If not, why not?

From Abia to Rivers State, there are almost 50-60 checkpoints, then those people at the border or Abia and Rivers State are just what I don't know.... Not to talk of the border of Abia and Imo....

We have criminals and not officers at Sagamu - Benin expressway. Those ones are harden criminals. They should start arresting from there

Travelling from adamawa to Enugu , throughout the journey in Taraba state I counted only 14 check points predominately military check points.

Omo when we just enter Benue state , na very 5 sec we dey meet checking points , one funny one was the youth of one mumu community mount check point say motor jam on elderly man 2days back and they are collecting money for his burial .

our driver give the wereys. 50 naira, their leader say Noo the least is 100naira .

Abeg, how do we know which ones are legal and which are illegal?

Every for year we dismantle and mount check points, ban and unban tinted windows, ban and unban sirens, withdraw and give police protection to vips etc

Even last year that bandit use to disturb us on that road, you will never see all this police on that road. That’s my route o. And I use to pass there very well.
