PLS REMOVE ALL STATIC PERMANENT CHECKPOINTS ON OUR ROADS. THEY CAUSE UNECESSARY HOLD-UPS WHICH MAKE HEAVY DUTY VEHICLES TO REMAIN ON ONE SPOT AND CAUSE THE ROADS TO GET BAD QUICKLY.

A CASE INPOINT IS THE OLOGBO/KOKO JUNCTION SECTION OF THE WARRI/BENIN HIGHWAY.

CHECKPOINT SHOULD BE MOBILE AND DEVOID OR PERMANENT OBSTACLES. THE COAL TAR ROADS ARE NOT DESIGNED AS PARKS FOR HEAVY VEHICLES.

A PERMANENT CHECKPOINT ON ONE SPOT KNOWN TO EVERYBODY CAN NOT EFFICIENTLY TAME CRIME.

INSTEAD HAVE MOBILE CHECKPOINTS PLUS PATROLS SUPPORTED BY COMMUNITY EMPOWERED FOR SURVEILLANCE ACTIVITIES. EVERY BUSH YOU SEE ON THE HIGHWAY IS A COMMUNITY LAND SO THEY CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
