i am saying this for those who are home not to sell their property.

You need a change of mindset and reorientation bro. What's the point of getting the certification when you know it won't help you in anyway then ?

Did you get the certification because that's what everyone is doing or because you researched and you saw that the job that needs the certification is in demand ?

I have a friend over there that's trying to make a way for me to come over.
But the problem is that, flight money is not smiling at all.
I don't even know on how to go about getting an account Statement.

How poor nationales enrich big nations in the name of japa. A guy in the UK called to join his friend struggling in Ghana, after spending more than 20m for his masters in the UK, walaha ...smh. Let's build a conducive Nigeria, tribalism and corruption won't let us. Wondering what the future has in store for us

Yes, you are correct, you don't see a Lebanese wasting £40k to run to Europe and for work just to do cleaning jobs, care jobs and other menial manual jobs. They would use that money to open a fruit machine (gambling) shop or a bar, i have never come across a Labanese doing menial jobs in my whole life in England what they do is own corner shops where they sell vegetables, fast foods or sweets and ciggarettes. They are also the best con artists on earth, difference is they do it smoothly, quietly and legally. grin

My sister went there a month ago and she has gotten a job already, her Fiance went there 3 weeks back and has gotten a job already..London to be precise...and yes u re right about the house rent..she pays 450pounds per month there. She is doing her msc there also

450 pounds per month in London is definitely a house share. But as long as it enables her to save towards getting her own place in future, all good.

Coconut, wheat, rice etc... Cocoa farming is also a good venture but usually require large expanse of land spanning hectares.

Re: My Experience In UK Since I Japa:WARNING by JoshuaSG: 11:31am On Nov 02, 2023
Your issues are one of the common challenges in making it as a new migrant, not even in the UK alone. Once you or your dependant secures a job, the issues will be almost over. The job will eventually come, so don't give up the struggle. That you could even help a fellow with £10 despite your plight shows there are others whose conditions are worse than yours.

I pray the job comes before the condition becomes unmanageable. Nigerians are generally known to be dogged in hustling. The leaders of our dear nation have successively failed to build a good nation for patriotic hustlers. But, pitifully, I won't condemn them for one thing: they have achieved making our skin tough for and adaptive to unpleasant circumstances. So, please use this Nigerian factor to manage the situation over there rather than quitting. Once again, I pray the job comes your way soon.

Finally, you presented a picture of the working system of government in the UK, and that moved me to tears.

Nigeria is more naturally endowed with resources than the said UK but still finds herself in a vicious circus of underdevelopment. Nations are built by leaders with the capacity to deliver and whose commitment to national development is devoid of corruption and religious or tribal sentiment. But choosing our leaders here is almost on the basis of religious and tribal affiliations.

I also pray that God deliver our dear nation from these religiously and tribally induced political misadventures.

This is a honest report but I have my own concerns for you which are that you could have chosen a school with a lower tuition and then you don't be that pessimistic either about a few things because this is a new phase.

If I have your share of money, I feel I will be better a bit but life is all about chances/luck as well.

Nigerians and UK. When will you learn?. The only reason you run there is because you can't be bothered to learn a new language.

There are far better opportunities all over Europe, but you want to keep feeding your colonial enslavers in a modern age.

Go on, or grow some senses and ask what's going on in beautiful Scandinavia, robust Germany, disciplined Switzerland, etc.

And, there are no tuition to bother with in most of these places. Jobs, I can get you one here in a heartbeat. But I will not tell you where I am cheesy

Keep feeding the cunning, corky British system.

Dem go use una clean their old and infirmed people yansh tire, and for peanut wages which you'd still end up spending in their economy.

Barely enought to survive and continue your servitude of yansh washing and diapers disposal.

We all know the answer to that question.

Don't tell people not to come to the UK because according to you ...Indians, Pakistani, Malaysia, china etc is overwhelming...

Tell them to come with that money they showed the embassy and the university before getting CAS and visa

If you have that money you will be focusing on your studies now and not job and how to pay remaining fees.

Around how much is That in Naira. as of today?

It takes a year to get ab appointment with Germany and the chances is soo slim.
Canada.. A friend even paid his fees and was denied visa and getting the fees back is a problem. That was my prefered choice but I can't risk it then.

USA? That's another story.

UK? 98% success rate..

Getting out of Nigeria to any good country is not easy now as our passport are weak.
But through here I can access those country with ease.

I know of someone who came here spent money and left his school to Canada for studies. He used here as route. What he couldn't get in Nigeria

Buying has been easier and cheaper than building for a loooong time now..

Please do you have any links to the #5M houses or something similar? The more the better. Thanks

There are inconsistencies in your story.
If you’re earning in foreign currency (I presume) by working online from Nigeria, meaning your income will even go a long way compared to anyone earning in #, why did you leave it to travel without a serious plan?
