Iwobi had a decent game,it's actually the first time I'm seeing him play so deep at the base of the midfield and I like how he was dictating the play from there.

So the last man behind keeper is not part of the game?. What if the first shot had beaten the keeper? Won't he still be in position to clear off the line..in that case is he not part of the play?

Even if it's the goalkeeper that was on the line when the ball came to Semi Ajayi, it's still an offside. Understand the offside rule first.

super eagle will improve the day they build their game play around Iwobi ,, I know I sound silly right .. but this will eventually happen then we will all see the difference in our attack .. iwobi is the most intelligent super eagle .. do you guys really see the idea behind even his failed passes ? Very soon we will all agree that there is no super eagle without him ..

You're right Sir, I think people forget that the keeper is a player too, so most times it's the keeper and one other player that keeps an attacker onsite.

I congratulate everyone for today's win against Cameron... but please don't condemn iwobi he actually brought a killer pass to Calvin Bassey that led to lookmans goal and aside that he fell back to give the team the balance we need for rhe match ....to me iwobi contributions to the match is silent but felt... the team played well and osimen and lookman have been good since day one ...Aina is beast and Calvin ajayi and ekong did a great job...

Lastly I want to remind us that the team is playing 5man defender so don't blame iwobi the load in the midfield is more that's y onyeka is only marking and iwobi is trying to maintain stability

Nigerians don't know the importance of Iwobi. Remove him from that team and our creativity as a team dies.

All I have to say is, whoever discovered Calvin Bassey for the team has done so well for us. The young man is a true patriot, so determined to see his team go higher.

Osihmen is another player working so hard to record his name in the record of Naija legends. At a point I was wondering if he is a defender as he shuffles between defence, mid field and attack. Drogba is proud of him, he (Drogba) be like, this guy is a beast like me.

The rule is not new actually. The misconception came from people believing that the offside must always be with regard to the goalkeeper alone.

Iwobi is not that creative but he is very good at ball retention. Aribo is a close substitute to deliver what Iwobi brings to the game.
