The Lagos state police command has confirmed that supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, were attacked by thugs while on their way to his presidential rally in the state today, February 11, IGBERETV reports.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said about four persons were injured in the attack. He also said that they've commenced an investigation.

I personally witnessed one as we descended 3rd mainland bridge. A guy stood with his machete and attached a moving bus, luckily no one was hurt. I was shocked as this was in broad day light.
