You don't have to build a party from scratch to have a political ideology. The great Nelson Mandela didn't found the ANC. Matter of factly, he never founded any political party.

Political ideology cannot be formed or changed outside the political structure. That's why young people are advised to join a political movement so that they can exert their influence from within the political structure.

I'm sure you as an individual have some ideas of things you'd do differently if you had the chance. The only way you can get that chance, bro, is to join a movement. Not necessarily to start a political party.
I don't just know the kind ideology that some Nigerians are carrying about, that someone must just form a political party and that is why Nigeria political space is flooded with many political parties. In 2015 there were not less than 70 political parties. Just for what? Ego
For centuries now, the two major political parties that are ruling USA are Republican and Democratic parties. Like Democratic party has been in existence since 1830s, while Republican party was formed since 1854 and Americans had maintained these two major parties to select their presidents. The other mushroom parties are Forward Party, Libertarian Party, the Green Party, Constitution Party, and others that have less influence than the two major parties and they are called 3rd party but they had never formed alliance to wrestle power from the two parties. Everyone that want to contest for president are always contesting under tphe two major parties but do will have that ideology in Nigeria.
In 1999, there were two major parties, AD and PDP. It's only PDP that is still in existence till date. Tinubu that suppose to develop AD ran away to form his own because he could not get control of AD structure and that was the beginning of splitter parties till date.
Many Nigerians see politics as a profession while Americans see it as a vocation and never contemplate forming new party but always using existing parties.
This ideology has made us not to grow out structure but just looking for ways to do it our own ways and that's why we always have many abandoned projects.

Labor party's ideology is socialism..

Peter Obi's ideology is capitalism and he himself is a capitalist.

Obi's economic ideas are anti Labor and anti workers, even his plan to remove import restrictions is anti local industries and manufacturing, it also means elimination of local jobs and collapse of our manufacturing sector.

Obi is a trader, making money and hiding his money far far away from our monetary system and taxations and avoidance of personal, civic and corporate responsibility while the Nigerian workers and the laborers must work and pay taxes to benefit the rest of the society.

The man has different set of rules and standards for himself and the rest of the country.

Even hiding your money in foreign tax haven to dodge your personal and patriotic responsibilities is a major disqualification.

LP and Obi are the opposite of each other, they have nothing in common, but their marriage is a marriage of convenience and opportunism which in the long run means friction and disaster.

Individuals need the right platform to contest and get the opportunity to serve. Peter Obi needs a platform which of course is constitutional.

If he sought to use Labour Party is that opportunistic? Seun shouldn't recant his thoughts in the event of PO winning because everything is possible currently. Nigeria would exist after elections. We need be discreet with thoughts.

I just dont get it why people just come up with stories or tell stories they heard from other people without atleast doing some little findings.
