If a case originates in a state court, it can only be appealed to the Federal Supreme Court, which I believe is the one you're referring to, if it involves a federal issue.
Not entirely certain if this case falls under federal jurisdiction.

Infact, Trump can even seek justice on the basis of mistrial. You can see that this is a very punitive judgement.
