The reason why churches don't pay taxes is because the govt lists them as charity organizations. The reason why Nigerians complain about churches is because their GOs run them like for profit only organizations. If na only dis wan dem fit do for their faithful donors, dem don try! cool

There is nothing wrong with charging phones in church.
The area might be having poor power supply, the church can dedicate charging area for people to get their gadgets charged.
What's the essence of a spiritual gathering that won't transform our spiritual being to physical manifestation.
Spirituality advocate love to oneself

Nigerians take anything from their government and that is why those criminals never apologize or take responsibility for their actions. The whole nation has been plunged into darkness ever since this evil drug dealer took power. Everything about this country is just fading away.

What will you have them do, OP? They may be Christians who claim to have "faith" in the divine and supernatural, but surely you don't expect them to anoint their iPhones with holy oil for better battery strength? What's Christianity without a tiny dose of hypocrisy? Got to abandon imaginary fantasies for reality once in a while. Tsk tsk.

Brothers and sisters in the lord, please plug in and let the spiritual amperes flow! Just remember, while your phone might be reaching 100%, your faith might still be stuck on "searching for signal". Hallelujah, indeed! 😁

Once upon a time, there was a king in Nigeria named King Okonkwo. King Okonkwo was a very powerful and rich king, but he was also very wicked. The king had a huge palace with many rooms and servants.

King Okonkwo made a rule that he could sleep with any woman in his kingdom that he wanted to. He was a greedy and lustful man. If the king saw a woman he liked, he would order his guards to bring her to the palace. The woman had no choice but to obey the king's orders.

The king would sleep with the woman for one night, and then send her back to her family the next day. This went on for many years. Hundreds of women from all over the kingdom were brought to the palace to sleep with the wicked king against their will.

The end is come!

But can we blame them?
Hell no.

The government has shirked its responsibility in providing a basic necessity - power.

People now avail themselves of every opportunity to charge phones, rechargeable lamps etc in public places like schools, hospitals and now churches.

Only If this will bring them to Christ!

They charge phones in the church because there is power supply at least for duration of the service. Some will go to church purposely to charge .

All these imf, world Bank,Swiss bank that are always imposing harsh economic policies in Africa cannot stand their own government with this same stupid policy.
The other day a foreign media was commending Tinubu for causing economy hardships on nigerians.
Something their own citizens won't tolerate.
They will start burning cars and shops with violent protest.
