A man showcases an entire empty estate filled with luxurious mansions abandoned in the heart of Abuja. In the short video, several houses are seen in a dilapidated state, prompting many to ask why such beautiful houses or mansions are left abandoned and in such a pitiful state.

We're not discussing ordinary houses or buildings here, but rather mansions in a very large estate occupying vast land in the heart of Abuja. From this video, it's evident that this estate is expansive, containing several beautiful buildings abandoned to decay.

What do you believe is the reason behind the abandonment of these beautiful buildings?

Not new in Abuja and over 90% of these buildings belongs to politicians.

They have such buildings in kado even inside asokoro too.

If it is not associated to an existing court order on the forfeiture of asset belonging to one of the numerous corrupt politicians or individuals, it could be as a result of impending natural disaster such as Earth Tremor or so. The former however is the most realistic.

The man should know the reason for the abandonment.

Live inside first, let’s know how abandoned it is. By the time armed security guards shoot you, you go realize say appearances are deceiving. A truly abandoned building would have destitute people living inside.

If it's the BUA estate at Kado then the reason for it being empty is simply because of the price. It's one of the most luxurious estates in Abuja and located in a very strategic area.

When politicians steal money in excess.. next thing is to start buying properties and building estates all over the place that most people can't afford.. the twist is they carry cash that noone can trace to do all their shady deals.

Either the person is dead or has run out of funds.

But it looks so much like BUA Estate at Kado-Gwarinpa express road just beside Shema Filling Station. If it is the one, the estate is big and most of the units are occupied. Not all of them are empty. Very beautiful luxurious Estate built by BUA, very serene, strategically located and the price is premium too.

Proceeds of stolen money by our politicians that are looking for place to just hide it.

I went to an estate in Abuja where I saw a house with a tree at the center of the gate blocking the entrance.

The house has not been used by anyone in the last 10 years.

Na wa ooo

It is a normal site in some Estate within Abuja city.
In some Estate with over 500 buildings you find only 7 to 10 people living in the whole Estate.

Some Mansion are wasting while they are people living in shitholes and dustbin in this same Abuja.

Presently, in my street, if you don't have 800 Million - 1 billion just forget owning a property here.

Abuja was design for only the shameless rich class, political thieves, the foolish people, the packagers, the adulterous men like me, the promiscuous women, the born-by-mistake crew, the "Do you know who I am" crew, the Cooperate beggars, the strugglers and shapeless bleaching hookup girls from Southern Kaduna etc.

.... but the thieves are still in government or have huge influence on the government -that's why so far, no one can fight corruption in Nigeria.
