Nigerians Slams Wigwe's daughter for not standing to greet VP Shettima at her parents' funeral

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsoqQyKrCaE?si=HNpHsi99M2Qr_7Xu

A moral police on social media has called out Herbert Wigwe's oldest daughter for not standing to greet the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima.

The user shared a photo of Tochi Wigwe sitting while accepting a handshake from Shettima during one of the events organised to mourn Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba Wigwe, and their son Chizzy Wigwe who died in a helicopter crash. He then shared photos of former VP Yemi Osinbajo and businessman Aliko Dangote standing to shake hands with Shettima.

He wrote: “Same Man, different regard. Whoever that girl is,she lacks proper home training. You don't shake a person old enough to be your father while seating down.”

A couple of other social media users from the North also berated the grieving daughter.

However, many defended her.
Meanwhile we're the most badly behaved people. Home training indeed. Envious, bitter, poor people. She's wealthy. Deal with it.

You are nothing but a complete MUMU. Are you from Canada?? Or is that how you disrespect elders from your place??

Even in the latter part of your useless comment, you still alluded for respect to people irrespective of their status, so does this lady comes near Shettima

I just pray God will spare your life to grow old, then if little girls of your child's age disrespect you, just clap for them.
Do you realise how many people who will come to her to console with her? So she will rising at everyone coming to greet her, right?
All of you hateful souls will never escape the hate and bitterness you show to people.

Someone is grieving the loss of father and mother and a sibling and you wicked souls have not a single sympathy but to judge!!!!!

She is bereaved. She is mourning the deaths of her parents and her sibling. Where is your conscience?

Average Nigerians act with sentiments rather than with rationality. Was the VP there to show sympathy or to be worshiped?
That's how during my dad's burial one mollusc claiming elder asked me to remove my shades so he can see my face during greetings... my expression made him apologise ASAP. Some people don't have sense at all

The girl is being exposed to things she has know knowledge and things she was not prepared for.
I know the VP himself and matured people understand that and won't take her mistake seriously.

See this one using someone's mourning period to make headline. Una no dey fear God? This is so heartless and evil. If you cannot comfort her don't add to her sorrow. Enough of all this nonsense from many of these bloggers.

At least I didn't pretend to be what I'm not, I offered my services in exchange for money — English must be really difficult for you to understand. I'm not that black thing being racist to other black groups on an "anonymous" forum.

You're disgusting because you think it's okay to be racist as long as you're hating on Caucasians and other black groups, if a white man said what you said; there would be racist idiots like you screaming "black lives matter".

Pig pee in you all day!

Lack of home training and insensitive of the program organizer.whatever it maybe protocol must be observed. For VP to attend that funeral it's a great honor for the deceased and the immediate family.
What's the economic relevance of this?
Too many useless fools concentrated on one land mass. How could people make everything a topic?
This is someone who is yet to come to terms with the reality of losing 3 members tragically..
You Guys will benefit from decompressive craniectomy of the brain. Henceforth, WHO should declare madness & stupidity an outbreak across Nigeria.
