Its definitely low voltage. Actaris meters do not support voltages below a certain level. Call NEPA to ensure that you have at least one line with full current leading into your meter.

It is a wire connection, the telephone kind of wire not the cables from NEPAL. IT HAPPENED TO ME TOO.

I had same problem last year.. quiet frustrating..

to the extent of calling their head office for tamper code..

my electrician later traced in and out wire to d meter to realize there is a faulty join.. he just reconnected the joint properly and that was all..

is it the breaker trpping?

if yes, then inform the PPM team, but you'll have to buy a new breaker.

Ours was tripping they came and fix it

Hope the load is not too much? Maybe a neighbor has connected his block making machine to your meter...I suspect excess load.

You probably have only one phase. That brand of prepaid meter always trips off once you have one phase left. You'll need phcn officials to restore the other 2phases on the transformer

Your transformer neutral wire has blown or cut off. Go outside walk from your pole to the transformer you will realise the neutral is wire is down. There's nothing wrong with your meter.

It shows that your meter is overloaded. It means too many electrical appliances are on at the same time. Try to put off some, and see if you will still experience such.

My meter use to trip off whenever the voltage gets low, below 100V.
Confirm if the voltage in your area is low or not.

Check the circuit breaker, it's bad already but I will advice you call the provider let them change the breaker for you, because it's power issue.

Low voltage could be the issue.

The fault should be from that one on the pole.I used to experience similar thing when I was staying in a house with prepaid meter, but my own case was that it would trip off on several occasions without coming on until I invite PHED staff to come work on it.

Check of a bird is living inside the meter compartment.

Get an electrician to help you check the circuit breaker. It could be having partial contact.

I had a similar issue some three months ago and I called an electrician. I suspected the circuit breaker, although he argued with me but it turned out to be the problem as the light remained stable till date after he changed it.
Just suggest to him to check the circuit breaker.

Every prepaid meter has year of production and class.
This very type of prepaid meter always develop this issue. If the Meyer is a class of 2015 down the line, you may need to change it. Notify power distribution board in your area and request for another one. You may like add lil money anyways.
The meter is one of those first set produced by PHCN back then.

Simply inform a reliable NEPA personnel or better still report it to their office officially, they are in the best place to recommend what to do. The last thing you should do is it get an electrician to come work on the meter, because if you do the penalty NEPA will charge you with eh will make you say they are very wicked

Connect it direct and damm the consequence. Afterall even the Asọ rock druggie Pablo is not clean.

Happened to me. I discovered it was low voltage.

Nepa adjusted their voltage and boooom.. Meter sense restored..

Ask around if other residents are experiencing low voltage.
