I would rather seek for asylum in Europe than to be living in one bedroom flat in Nigeria also.

Ur chances of getting doc with asylum claim as a nigerian is very slim

Until you experience such a condition. It's better you stay back in Naija than getting yourself into such mess. Be wise for once.

When we complain or when they complain...they say, why can't they just come home?
1. If they had the money, would they be sleeping in tents and begging for food or looking to share foods. The Govt should once a month provide free 100 vouchers for free flights, so folks can return home.
2. If they return to Nigeria, what would they return to? Some have told everything or borrowed funds that they had promised to returned. How do you return to hopelessness and more debt, so they just stick to staying abroad.
3. Returning to Nigeria without success brings with it another stigma of failure...so everyone just go with...we will just die here or die trying.

So, when people complain about difficulties abroad, show them grace and mercy...show empathy, learn from their mistakes and listen....that way, if you ever travel, your voice won't be drowned by those who think you should say nothing while in sorrow and tears.

A Nigerian man has shed light on the distressing living conditions faced by immigrants who were not granted asylum in Portugal. The man, whose identity remains undisclosed for safety reasons, took to social media to showcase the dire circumstances in which many find themselves.

The video, which has since gone viral, reveals cramped and unsanitary living spaces where several individuals are forced to reside.

Very neat environment, cleaner than Tinubu's residence in Aso Rock.

Black man is so dirty, do we have any city in Nigeria as clean as this despite the fact that this Portuguese city is harboring lots of homeless, jobless people, but still looks clean and organized?

Honestly there is a fundamental problem with the whole black race, it's not just about Nigeria, the entire black race have a problem from creation that only God can answer angry

The reason why it is clean in Lisbon is because they pay the kind of tax that enables the place to be kept clean

Then free markets and industrialization

Why not investing the money on something here?

I would have been depleted...... nigerians I have come to conclude are virus.... their aim is to eat you till you diminished...... how will grown men with brains meticulously design a biznes process not aiming to add or produce value..... but to gain wholesomely....... I pity any one that will want to Invest this period

The Tinubu administration has its work cut out – arresting spiralling insecurity, tackling grinding poverty, enhancing economic opportunity and forging a sense of national consciousness. It is safe to say that it is not off to a great start,” they said.

Despite having the means to enhance their lives in Nigeria, a significant number of these people chose to invest extensively in migrating abroad without fulfilling the required education and skill criteria. Before departing, many of these people thrived in Nigeria, boasting successful businesses, high paying jobs and properties. However, the temptations of peer pressure and a desire to showoff their big man status to many Nigerians influenced their decision to migrate. Sad

Most of these people don't meet all the criteria for the above mentioned opportunities. Some can't even read and write well. How will they fit into their system over there? Most of these people you see were very bad people in Nigeria.

Sigh... Some of them are from countries not at war or crisis, with functioning economies.

Some, like Nigerians, just want to relocate at all cost in order to show off or oppress others back home.

Why Japa without proper research, planning, and going through the right legal process and channels?!!

You suffer finish for Naija, go continue suffering worse things abroad! Makes no sense at all.

Asking people to Japa to Portugal and other European countries with hope to cross to other places. When u don't hear their language how can you get job?
UK that we speak same language during job hunt they still ask me to pass through interview just to access my level of understanding in English.
